Edited by BRBadon: 7/18/2016 10:43:46 PMI just got a Soulstealers Claw with oes/oas sights, smallbore/handlaid stock , quickdaw, counterbalance/unflinching. I like smallbore because the extra range is super nice. Thoughts?

Do any of these players who voted even have a Soulstealers Claw? If you look at the base stat on the card the gun has a longer range than the DoP, and with a decent stability perk youll cut down most everything in front of you.
-
I never had the doctrine but my soulstealer with perfect balance and rangefinder is way better than my arminis d. The stability is less with the soulstealer but it is really stable still. I have the choice of hand laid stock but I like my range on it too. The gun melts for sure.
-
Arminians and grasp.
-
With the right rolls, soulstealers can have the same stability with twice the range of doctrine. But overall it's much easier to get a usable doctrine than a soulstealers.
-
The claw must have counterbalance IMO. It just bounces around too much. My perfect roll would be counterbalance, braced frame, rangefinder.
-
Claw with Counterbalance and Smallbore is insane range for that kind of AR
-
Not got either yet, but seem to get killed more by Soulstealer than Doctrine now in PVP
-
I got a soul stealers claw (hunter). At first I wrote it off because it didn't have counterbalance. But, I tried it for a few games and I like it much better than my doctrine and "God roll" arminius-d. The recoil is completely manageable even at range. I think it feels better because it has more range and aim assist. Mine has perfect balance, single point sling, and rodeo or feeding frenzy.
-
It's a pallet swap gun. If you get better perks on one or the other than that's the best one. It's stupid to think that one is better than the other.
-
They are about the same. However I went toe to toe against a guy with Soulstealer that had Hidden Hand and another range/stability perk or 2 and he melted me and my Counterbalanced Doctrine. I was pretty dialed in with my head shots, but it wasn't even close.
-
I have both and here's my two cents. Claw hits harder, has more bullets, and more range. Doctrine is smoother firing and easier to use. Both are extremely FUN guns! Doctrine wins out, BUT just marginally.
-
They both kill me. A lot.
-
Doctrine. On my titan if anyone wants to see roll. No toxic counterbalance
-
Righteous 7...if you have to use an auto rifle.
-
My Claw with Perfect Balance and Counterbalance is bae.
-
My soul stealer with focused fire. It's a 66 bullet haakons hatchet!!
-
Claw with glass half full is a beast!
-
I use a Righteous VII with an amazing roll. - SPO-28 (Aim Assist) - Hammer Forged - Hand Laid Stock (which maxes the stability bar) - Rangefinder I honestly outgunned most Doctrine users in a 1v1 gunfight this IB. It's my new favorite crucible weapon. I'd imagine Paleo would be good too with a similar roll.
-
I rarely lose to doctrine when using the claw.
-
My Claw is better than Doctrine.
-
Have a Claw with Counter Balance and Perfect Balance but stability is still lower than Doctrine. And I can tell, kicks up too much.
-
I have a soulstealer with perfect balance, quickdraw, and hidden hand/focused fire.
-
Arminus-D is amazing.
-
I love my soulstealer but I know Doctrine is better.
