I seriously doubt that Destiny can be further significantly improved without major code changes that are less likely to happen if a full price (and coded from scratch) sequel is already in development? If possible, please list the top 10 most doable changes (in ascending difficulty order) for the dev team, then let the community vote on which 3 changes they should attempt first, if needs be just implement in the sequel as long as the key lessons are learned from the last two years of laggy PvP (just get a better ban system and dedicated servers?) and mostly unnecessary weapon nerfs (just buff everything else don't make bullet sponge bosses!). My guess is that novel or custom game modes and ranked playlists, etc. are much easier to add than completely new content, perhaps encourage experimental options through voluntary limited time events and just gather feedback via stats on the number of volunteers and drop off rates? How hard is it to mix more PvE elements into PvP maps and vice versa? Maybe add some increasingly difficult machine learning AI bots that actually learn a play style rather than just following set paths all the time? Do a web search for videos of the reaper bot in action to see what I mean. Finally, ignore all those haters with rose tinted specs on these forums, this game may get a little stale after playing for hundreds of hours but how many other games truly compare in terms of time invested versus the endgame activities available?
