"Interesting... And what does this have to do with me."
He says with a short laugh.

"You see, Mantorok isn't just a warden. Although he specializes in it, he has a different name... a different purpose altogether. He has a... secret identity, of sorts." Suddenly, the Harbinger is filled with a deep, sinking feeling. He does not control the darkness anymore. He does not control anything anymore. The dream grows darker and colder... the snow stops falling. All that lingers is a freezing feeling. A feeling of fear. Tulleesh's mist stops glowing. It changes altogether. He becomes black, darker than night. The sweet violet of earlier becomes a gruesome darkness. For the first time since his death, the harbinger feels fear. "For you see... Mantorok is the god of unlife. He is the Eternal Darkness." Tulleesh wasn't himself anymore. The feeling of nauseating fear fills Harbinger from head to toe, sending uneasing chills down his spine. "And us, as his vessels... are tasked to both protect the world from evil... and from the Eternal Darkness itself." As he spoke, his voice was becoming less and less his own. It became stronger, it grew without stopping. He was irradiated with darkness, so dark that he was visible through the surrounding darkness. "Fear... you feel it, don't you? Yes... I can smell it. I can taste it. Fear of the unknown. Fear of the truth. Fear of defeat... You desperately try to kill your own creator's offspring. Yet you cannot. Because you are... simply, inadequate." At this point, Harbinger felt as if he was the smallest thing in the universe. His vertigo kept climbing and climbing, without ever stopping. It became painful. "You may haunt the dream of children... you may be the monster that hides underneath the bed..." Tulleesh's shape began changing, becoming a monstrosity so utterly disgusting, so fearful in it's existence that mere words could never describe it. "... But I am YOUR BOGEYMAN." Harbinger was violently awoken from his own nightmare. Was it even a nightmare? It felt so... real... Meanwhile, back in the realm of the material, Tulleesh was crouching over his sleeping beloved, who was in the process of waking up.
-
She awoke screaming. Her brain felt stressed, felt pained, as it had just housed two other consciousnesses inside it. "AHH!" She shot up.
-
"Monica! Monica." He held his hands against her shoulders to hold her in place, calming her down. "Easy there. Easy..."
-
Her breathing slowed. Her hair and eyes were wild. "He's here! Tulleesh! He's going to... Hurt everyone!" She couldn't speak fast enough. "I have to stop him.. I have to..." She slowly calms, closing her eyes. Her breathing was ragged, despite it being slowed.
-
"Hey. Look at me." He held her in place, his tattoo glowing slightly. "I'm here. We're all here. It'll be fine, Monica."
-
Her eyes were glowing as well... Her powers? He notices everything around the room was levitating. She looks at it, her eyes wide. Suddenly everything drops, including a glass, it shatters. "Oh!" She looks away. "T-Thank you... Tulleesh.."
-
He turns her head towards him, kissing her. "I love you. And I'll never let anything happen to you. I gave him a good scare, he won't be coming after you for a long time..."
-
She was blushing furiously. "Thank you... You really didn't have to.. I would have figured out a way to push him out..." She stammered.
-
"Hey. What are magical boyfriends for?" He chuckles, holding her.
-
She smiles. "I guess that."
-
He sits next to her. "Now, we have something we should talk about, love." He looks at her, holding her hand. "I love you like I've never loved before... and I'm fairly certain you love me too. Is that correct?"
-
She nods. "Yes.. It is... Why?"
-
"Well, we have to think of the future. A house, a place to stay, family, kids of our own... you know."
-
"A... A house? A family? I..." She looks overwhelmed. She stands, she couldn't look him in the eye. "I'm... I'm only 19... Tulleesh I..." She didn't want to say anything to hurt him but... She was to young.
-
"Well, I know that, but what I'm saying is we'll be together for a while. Note that I said future, not present. sit down."
-
She nods, sitting again. "I'm sorry... I just... The thought of that so early... It threw me off guard..."
-
"I still study too, you know. Hell, I live at the academy. The reason why I'm bringing this up is because last night we went a little far... and I just want to know if you want me to get rid of the egg right now. It'll be 100% painless, I promise. I just want to know if you want me to or not."
-
She nods. "Do it."
-
"Alright." He lifts her shirt up, placing the palm of his hand over her belly button. A ticklish feeling spread from her belly as a circular symbol appeared in her skin, floating above her uterus. "There we are! Now, with this seal active... well, I won't bore you with technicalities. Basically, as long as that is there, you won't get pregnant."

-
"Alright. That's done. You never told me where you were studying, you know."
-
"I am... Computer Science and Defense... And weapons training and martial arts... I'm really busy." She says.
-
"I see. Interesting. By what you told me of him, your father insisted that he make you learn to defend yourself, didn't he?"
-
"Yeah... My family is like that." She says with a smile.
-
"Well, it's better than a family that doesn't care, right?" He smiles at her, hugging her tightly. "I love you, baby."
