"Say whatever you think will draw him out. Keep in mind we need him as angry and as unfocused as possible. The more he focuses on you, the more our ambush will succeed. We need him dumb and angry."

He nods. "Right. Sounds good." He says, turning, walking back to the the entrance he used.
-
Outside, the base was being prepared. Tanks were being moved around, robotic Servitors were off to the ambush point, with a Scion escort of course.

Edited by cyberattaq: 5/31/2016 9:57:29 PMHe goes back to his room, sitting down, Monica off with Tulleesh most likely. "Ryker... What are you doing with your life." He says, his head in his hands.
-
Meanwhile, the battle plan continued to take form. The armoured columns had been gathered and were moving to the objective point. The camouflage nets were ready and activated, they were Hidden. Very well hidden, too.
-
He stands, watching the troops form up. He sighs. "Am I even helping anymore..." He questions himself as he sits down. It seemed like all he did was get in the way... Like all he did was cause trouble.. That got people hurt.
-
Eleanor was getting herself ready for the Op as well. She always led her troops from the front lines. In her opinion, there was no better boost to morale than to see your commander fight alongside you.
-
He looks at himself, his ASCS. He shook his head, standing. Going to find his wife... Maybe he could speak to her privately before.
-
She was out on the field, preparing the troops for the operation. They were only taking a small division of troops, leaving the rest of the regiment here to guard the position.

Edited by cyberattaq: 5/31/2016 10:13:11 PMHe sits on the bed again, thinking about their marriage. Was he... Happy? Of course he was... What kind of dumb question was that. "My god..." He sighs as he tries to find something to do.
-
christ I'm gonna swap characters before he kills himself jesus
Meanwhile, Tulleesh was sitting in his own room, on the bed, meditating. He was wearing nothing but a sash, letting his tattoo breathe.
-
What he's just thinking... He's cooped up, the mind wanders
Monica sat across the room, dozing off. Under her eyelids, her eyes fluttered. Slowly be breathing began picking up. She began making troubling noises, whimpering... She must be having a nightmare.
-
His eyes were closed, he was listening in. This was an opportunity to try his abilities. He peered into her mind, observing what her nightmare was.
-
There was a very disturbing image... Rykers house destroyed, not disturbing to him but... To Monica it was. In the center was Ryker, on his knees. Blood dripped from his face, he looked up, standing with effort. "You won't kill me.." The person he spoke to appeared. Garret. "No... I'll do something much worse." He then knocks Ryker out easily as he had no strength left, and then dragged him away, the vision faded. The next one... There was nothing. It was just black. There were whisperings... A hushed voice... A language he couldn't understand.. But bits were in English. He heard some words, but they didn't make cohesive sentences. They seemed to disturb her.... Very much so. She tightened her grip on the arm rest. "No... No... No no." She mumbles, her head turning.
-
He appeared in her dream, he was a semi-physical being. His body shape was present, but it was composed of a thick violet mist. It was enough for her to recognize him. "Do not be afraid, Monica. It's only a dream."
-
She appeared to... She looked scared. "Tulleesh..! Leave! He's here!"
-
"I'll be fine. Don't worry, it's safe." He was calm, in control. The powers of Mantorok were... different in the realm of dreams. But still as powerful as ever.
-
The dream grew dark... And cold. Suddenly a massive snowstorm began blowing. Monica began shivering. "Please Tulleesh..." A voice spoke. "Who is this...?" Large footsteps could be heard. Through the snow there was a large form, a human like shape, approaching. "It appears... We have an intruder..." The voice was heavy, dark, metallic. Harbinger. He came into sight, at least twice as tall as them both. "Is this... The special man of your thoughts...? Tulleesh?" He says with a grim smile.
-
"Ah. You." Tulleesh observed the origin of the voice. "I've heard of you."
-
"Of course you have. Poor Monica here... I'm all she can think about." Suddenly he's behind her, she couldn't move, she was terrified. A long, sharp claw traces her cheek. "You see... Monica here has some... Extraordinary powers... Powers that could pose a threat to me.."
-
"Not the only thing." Monica suddenly disappeared, removed from the dream by an unknown force. "I have heard of you. Of your crushing defeat. Of your lamentable downfall." Tulleesh's power was strange to Harbinger... if he tried to bend the dreamscape around this strange figure, he found himself unable to. As if his power was being sucked out from him whenever he tried. The violet mist grew brighter in light. "Have you ever heard of Mantorok? The Unseen Warden? Keeper of the Three?"
-
"Your fairy tale legends do not interest me. I only fell do to the ring... You could not kill me if you tried now." He was not agitated. He was not angry. "You are trying to make me blind with anger... But it will not come."
-
"Ah, yes, the fabled ring... mighty Harbinger defeated by a mere accessory." He chuckles. "You are nothing. You think yourself all powerful... yet you aren't even capable of killing a simple man." He laughs. "Oh, you are indeed a strange being... let me regale you with the knowledge of who is Mantorok. An ageless being, yes, who exited before time itself. A real god, unlike you. You see, Mantorok exists solely to protect the universe from the three most powerful, most destructive forces in the universe, across all parallels. Those beings are Ulyaoth, Chattur'gha and Xel'lotath. The sorcerer, the warrior and the scholar, respectively. Those three beings are locked in such a deep hatred for one another that they constantly wage war in an unseen universe. They have no physical shape. But Mantorok does... in his own dimension, between universes."
-
"Interesting... And what does this have to do with me." He says with a short laugh.
-
"You see, Mantorok isn't just a warden. Although he specializes in it, he has a different name... a different purpose altogether. He has a... secret identity, of sorts." Suddenly, the Harbinger is filled with a deep, sinking feeling. He does not control the darkness anymore. He does not control anything anymore. The dream grows darker and colder... the snow stops falling. All that lingers is a freezing feeling. A feeling of fear. Tulleesh's mist stops glowing. It changes altogether. He becomes black, darker than night. The sweet violet of earlier becomes a gruesome darkness. For the first time since his death, the harbinger feels fear. "For you see... Mantorok is the god of unlife. He is the Eternal Darkness." Tulleesh wasn't himself anymore. The feeling of nauseating fear fills Harbinger from head to toe, sending uneasing chills down his spine. "And us, as his vessels... are tasked to both protect the world from evil... and from the Eternal Darkness itself." As he spoke, his voice was becoming less and less his own. It became stronger, it grew without stopping. He was irradiated with darkness, so dark that he was visible through the surrounding darkness. "Fear... you feel it, don't you? Yes... I can smell it. I can taste it. Fear of the unknown. Fear of the truth. Fear of defeat... You desperately try to kill your own creator's offspring. Yet you cannot. Because you are... simply, inadequate." At this point, Harbinger felt as if he was the smallest thing in the universe. His vertigo kept climbing and climbing, without ever stopping. It became painful. "You may haunt the dream of children... you may be the monster that hides underneath the bed..." Tulleesh's shape began changing, becoming a monstrosity so utterly disgusting, so fearful in it's existence that mere words could never describe it. "... But I am YOUR BOGEYMAN." Harbinger was violently awoken from his own nightmare. Was it even a nightmare? It felt so... real... Meanwhile, back in the realm of the material, Tulleesh was crouching over his sleeping beloved, who was in the process of waking up.

She awoke screaming. Her brain felt stressed, felt pained, as it had just housed two other consciousnesses inside it. "AHH!" She shot up.
