Fire Warrior.
It happened within the General Quarters of the bloodwrath, in a dark alleyway.
Red Lightning arced unto buildings and streets, all emanating from a single point. An alleyway, between a warehouse and a parking lot.
A ball of red Lightning formed over the pavement, burning cleanly through anything it touched. At the center of it, a shape began to form.
It was quite large... about twice the size of a space marine. It was kneeling, by the looks of it, from within the sphere.
In a final blast, a wave of red energy flew across the city block, momentarily shutting down electronic devices.
Little remnants of red lightning arced from his body. His armour was painted in pitch black and glossy red. Over his left arm was a dark and foggy cloak.
The fire warrior shook his head, looking up.
"Wh... Where in the universe am I..?"
He slowly began to stand up. As he moved, red gauss energy, liberated gauss energy, floated across his joints. He was no longer a man of flesh. He was a being of metal, but of familiar metal. He had died. He had been made a slave. And briefly, he had touched the darkness. But now, he had returned. The liberated commander had been freed. His mind had returned to him, in major parts. He was still bonded with the ultimate being of Death, the Nightbringer. But he was like a parasite to the god. He had harnessed his powers for his own use. He had cheated death. The Grieving Commander stood proudly, encased in the mighty armour of the Tau.
"I... Am Aun Kor'El... Shas'o'Kais of the Terr'an Sept... Liberated Commander..."
He spoke these words like some sort of prayer, a reminder to himself that his life was his own once more. That he was in control, not the machines.
He stood proud, yet somewhat humble. His stance was not that of a machine. His movements were not mechanic. They were fluid, broken, random, instinctual. He moved in a human manner. In a living manner. In the manner a scared yet fearsome soldier would move.
He knew he had alerted a part of the General Quarters, if not all of them. But that mattered little to him.
He could see the pained souls roaming the ship, encased in their metal prisons. The enslaved Necrons. He felt their pain, their suffering. He heard their pleas for mercy. He would answer them. He was a man of three worlds. He was Born as Tau, the fire warrior. He lived on Terr'a, with the humans. And he payed his sins with the Necrontyr, slaves of their own hatred. With the Red Gauss flowing through him, dancing along with the blue power of Tau craft,
The Insurgent Commander lived once more.
open. You saw that red Lightning.
-
"Never heard of them. You ever heard of Kronus? I destroyed a Necron tomb world after my awakening. By myself."
-
Alright... Erm... ex God. Bahamortar Lots of crazy shit Digital Dojo Lots of crazy shit Etc
-
"This is not a contest you can win, I'm afraid." He chuckles. "The only defeat I've ever had on my record was Kaurava. Other than that... the list is long. Very long."
-
I don't want to make this a competition, but, I don't have to fight with an exoskeleton, I've been in many more wars than you, pretty much warring every day for 20,000 years, and when Gore takes over... well... you don't wanna know
-
"I've seen plenty of Gore."
-
Oh, I can see how that is confusing. My name was Gore for almost twenty thousand years. Now I use it to represent my thoughtless rampages when I was in these wars
-
"Is there any difference?"
-
Yes. Normally, I wouldn't kill unless it was absolutely necessary. But then, I would kill just because a man with the crown said so. He wanted for me to kill a lot
-
"ah, I see. Unlike you, however, I needn't flee my past, for I have no shame of myself. You may be old, experienced, but age and experience aren't everything. Especially if you are afraid of them that you hide yourself behind names. Now, I will go gather my other suits. I have told you of my history, as you have requested."
-
Well... I don't know, not having emotion takes a toll on you. It's been 30 years since I've learned about emotion...

He walks out of the warehouse, towards the other signatures.
-
*Mortar seems distracted by something in an ally and begins to investigate*
-
He sees a group of Necrons attacking a heretic base, destroying anything they saw as they search for something. He could see someone leading them, was it.... No.... It was his former bodyguard, Vaaxius, his first conversion and most loyal soldier.
-
"Hm. It seems my old pariahs are still about. Perhaps there is still hope for them."
-
They finish the camp off and search the rest of it.
-
"I will have to make a mental note to seek them out. Although they will most likely greet me with violence."
-
One of the Necrons notice him and alerts his squad; They start walking towards him with their guns at the ready.
-
They couldn't really see him, as he was nowhere near their position. His connection to the Nightbringer allowed him to see necron energy anywhere at any time, all across the ship. They could be miles and miles away from him, and he would still sense their individual presence. This was the case in this situation.
-
Whoops
They head back to the main group and continue to search it, he could hear them softly arguing about someone..... Arguing about him Vaaxius: "I don't care if you think he isn't here! We will continue to search until the Overlord is found!" Necron one: "But Ma'am....." Astrid growls and slaps the Necron soldier.
-
hue
Kor'El suppresses a chuckle. "It seems a meeting is at hand."
-
The Necron soldier sighs and backs away as Vaaxius sighs and walks away, heading to a secluded area to plan out their next search.
-
A necron soldier is suddenly caught with violent convulsions and begins to glow red.
-
Vaaxius gets up and walks towards him. "Hey! Are you alright?!"
-
Suddenly, he comes to a sudden halt. "You wish to meet. Come alone. The General Quarters. I await you, and you alone, Pariah."
-
Vaaxius growls. "Explain yourself, I will not go right into that bed of inferior beings just on the word of a soldier."
