Fire Warrior.
It happened within the General Quarters of the bloodwrath, in a dark alleyway.
Red Lightning arced unto buildings and streets, all emanating from a single point. An alleyway, between a warehouse and a parking lot.
A ball of red Lightning formed over the pavement, burning cleanly through anything it touched. At the center of it, a shape began to form.
It was quite large... about twice the size of a space marine. It was kneeling, by the looks of it, from within the sphere.
In a final blast, a wave of red energy flew across the city block, momentarily shutting down electronic devices.
Little remnants of red lightning arced from his body. His armour was painted in pitch black and glossy red. Over his left arm was a dark and foggy cloak.
The fire warrior shook his head, looking up.
"Wh... Where in the universe am I..?"
He slowly began to stand up. As he moved, red gauss energy, liberated gauss energy, floated across his joints. He was no longer a man of flesh. He was a being of metal, but of familiar metal. He had died. He had been made a slave. And briefly, he had touched the darkness. But now, he had returned. The liberated commander had been freed. His mind had returned to him, in major parts. He was still bonded with the ultimate being of Death, the Nightbringer. But he was like a parasite to the god. He had harnessed his powers for his own use. He had cheated death. The Grieving Commander stood proudly, encased in the mighty armour of the Tau.
"I... Am Aun Kor'El... Shas'o'Kais of the Terr'an Sept... Liberated Commander..."
He spoke these words like some sort of prayer, a reminder to himself that his life was his own once more. That he was in control, not the machines.
He stood proud, yet somewhat humble. His stance was not that of a machine. His movements were not mechanic. They were fluid, broken, random, instinctual. He moved in a human manner. In a living manner. In the manner a scared yet fearsome soldier would move.
He knew he had alerted a part of the General Quarters, if not all of them. But that mattered little to him.
He could see the pained souls roaming the ship, encased in their metal prisons. The enslaved Necrons. He felt their pain, their suffering. He heard their pleas for mercy. He would answer them. He was a man of three worlds. He was Born as Tau, the fire warrior. He lived on Terr'a, with the humans. And he payed his sins with the Necrontyr, slaves of their own hatred. With the Red Gauss flowing through him, dancing along with the blue power of Tau craft,
The Insurgent Commander lived once more.
open. You saw that red Lightning.
"Now, do you know of any imperial bases nearby?"
-
"Think I'd be out here if there was?"
-
"Scouting operations. Of great importance in any strategy."
-
"There's one strategy here pal. It's called survival."
-
doesn't he remember being brought to a military base? You know, the one with all the turrets.
"It seems you are a dead end to me. No matter, I will seek elsewhere. Good day."
you said nearby. I crashed aroun the top corner, opposite of you
"I know of one but it's very far away. There's got to be one near here."
-
"And yet a moment ago you were giving up hope. Humans are always so strange."
-
"Not giving up hope, I'm looking at reality."
-
"One often mistakes realism for pessimism."
-
"And one often mistakes there demons for angels. Okinawa told me that. Now let's look."
-
"Let us look separately. We shall cover more ground like this."
-
"Yes. We will. We'll also be more vulnerable."
-
"from the looks of it, these General Quarters are relatively safe. You should be fine. Besides, didn't you call yourself the 'best spec ops out there'?"
-
"Why do you think I'm going through every possibility in my head now. And k, not leaving anything out, no matter how crazy."
-
Pretty cowardly for a human... He thought, inwardly. "Look, I'll be going this way now. You seemed to be doing fine before I arrived here, so I'll leave that descision to you."
-
"I'll find you if I find a base."

*A figure saw the red lightning, and ran towards it, thinking it was the effect of something, or someone else. When he sees the large being, he slows down, a bit apprehensive about this. He seems to look at it, then run over to an area where there seems to be gunfire* *You think you hear it say something* I haven't had the chance to kill all day
-
"Fighting... it seems things haven't gotten dull in my absence." Using his ion booster, he jumps up to a nearby building's rooftop to assess the situation below.
-
*There is a large group of armed people trying to take down a nearby building, a building the figure runs into to find anyone* *A moment later, he comes out holding somebody and runs them as far from the scene as possible. He then takes out a dark blue katana/broadsword mix and dissolves into the ground, reforming in the middle of the group and swinging the sword, taking out almost half of them.* *Once he's done with them, he looks at you and dissolves into the ground again* *You hear a voice behind you* I'm going to assume that you found a little amusement in that...
-
"There is no amusement in combat. Also, you missed a few." He aims his railgun towards the fleeing attackers, as if he was locking on to each of them. In a split second, dozens of tiny missiles fire out at each of them, killing them all.
-
I wouldn't say there is NO amusement, with the right people, I'd admit on having some fun. Name's Mortar, by the way

-
Not sure. All I know is that they wanted to kill lots of people and destroy anything in their sights, stuff like that.
-
"Well then. It seems they won't be causing anymore problems." His cloak blew softly in the wind, hiding his left arm.

Can I ask you something? I've seen a lot of strange things that happened to organisms, becoming skeletal, melting down to a puddle, those things. How did you become... well... robotic?
