Such reports weren't unusual. These attacks were for the most part unsuccessful, since there were only two real bases to attack that belonged to the imperium: the General Quarters and the Abandoned Arena. Both were very well guarded. As for Heretic bases getting destroyed, the more the merrier.

[b]She sees a face in reports that she hasn't seen in awhile. The face of the head bodyguard for the Overlord during the Necron wars.[/b]

Well then. Old faces. No matter, she did acknowledge her presence on board, but didn't make a fuss of it. Unless they were attacked, the necrons weren't in their primary sights. Especially with their increased defenses.

[b]She hears a knock on the door along with the voice of Lupa.[/b] "Hey Agnes! You there?"

"Yes?"

"I thought you were hungry by now, so I made you some food."

"Oh! Thank you. Come right in."

[b]Lupa opens the door and walks in, a bag of containers in her left hand as she munches on a bone held in her right hand.[/b]

She is sitting at a desk, wearing her undergarment for her armour.

[b]Lupa smiles at Agnes, and puts a bag of containers that smell of lamb down on the desk.[/b] "Hey there, how are you?"

"Oh, Just fine. You?"

"Good, I've just been working on my weapons."

"Interesting. Have you made any advances?"

"Yeah, a group of soldiers and I took out a heretic base that was causing problems. I also noticed that the Necrons are becoming more aggressive."

"Fitting of necrons, always wanting to murder everything."

"Yeah, but it's like they're in a religious frenzy, half of them don't even retreat despite wounds that would send them back to their tomb worlds."

"Well, Necrons haven't exactly been known for retreating. Besides, if they ever attacked this base, they would never get past the perimeter."

"Yeah, still... It feels like their searching for something, or someone..."

"That might be, but they sure as hell won't find it here. Unless it's their deaths."

"Yeah, I just feel uneasy though.... All I can think of are the Necron Wars, that was worse then hell....."

"Well, you remember the file on their leader. That was a nightmare."
