The Scope zoom level on this gun is terrible even with custom optics. It has a base zoom is 7.0x and with custom optics it is 6.5x. This is simply too much zoom for any map in crucible rotation. Every single other year 2 exotic sniper has a 5.0x zoom. My fix has two parts. Part one is given Patience and Time a base zoom of 5.0x to put it in line with the other exotic snipers. 6.5x and 7.0x is too much. Even in PvE sight lines aren't that long. Now that it has base 5.0x Custom Optics can be replaced with a different perk suck as High Caliber Rounds which would give it some PvE potential in staggering targets with the flinch mechanic. Part two is adjust the equip speed of this weapon up to 50-70 from the 20 it is at currently. This will make the weapon seem snappier to use instead of being sluggish. This gun is an exotic you have to give up your exotic slot to use it and it doesn't perform well at all currently. With these two changes not only will it be viable in PvP but adding High Caliber Rounds instead of Custom Optics will add an interesting dynamic to PvE as well.
