DS3 invasion experiences thread!
Share your invasion stories here, I'm curious to hear about strange and funny invasions that people have been involved in. I'll edit this post soon to include some crazy experiences I hade the other day.

1 ReplySo i have no friends that plays dark souls so how do i make them? I invade and become a friendly invader. So each time i invade i help out the host of embers. One time this host was getting his ass kicked my two other invaders and what do i do? I help the host of embers out and kill them. How does he repay me? A backstab and a bow emote over my dead body. This happens almost every time like for god sake when you see a invader helping you out dont be a dick head.

Was a mound maker at the pontiff area just looking for duels to get the 30. I was summoned by a guy with the dragonslayer armors axe. He bowed and then I bowed and he threw a firebomb at me while I bowed. So I used my black stone because I was sick of no duel etiquette from earlier. Got summoned by the same guy again but an Aldrich faithful had started attacking him. I ran up and back stabbed him off the ledge and the faithful plunged for the kill. So satisfying.

Someone invades My world I stand over rock waiting I do the welcome gesture He/she bows in respect We do that for a bit Then we wait for one to strike then we attack at the same time and after our epic battle. He/she fought with class I gave them a bow

I invaded this one guy's world while a watchdog invaded as well. The watchdog and I go off to the side and fight while another invader dealt with the host. This goes on for a couple of minutes until the host dies and the battle ends in a tie between us. Fast forward to my world. The same watchdog invades my world and yet again, we go at it since last time was a tie. The battle was brutal, but it all went downhill for him when he got ballsy and did a heavy attack and I parried that shit. Crit hit instakill, I came out on top, but sent the dude a Friend request to maybe Duke it out or go for some jolly cooperation some time.

I befriended a host, who then befriended a mad phantom. The catch was the host was in way of the blue. 3 blue sentinels were summon to his world at once. The mad phantom and I each killed a blue and the host crystaled the third one out to protect us. I should probably upload that at some point.

I kept invading a gank squad the other day and I got so frustrated that the last time I invaded them I managed to actually kill the host.

One time I invaded a host and a phantom as a watchdog and I literally looked for them for 20 minutes. I finally found them camouflaged as those wooden crosses. I then beat them both in a 1v2 and was sent a nice message and a friend request from the host.

I got summoned for a dual by a scrub using a dark sword and 100% resist shield. I got him to use all of his estus (he was healing) and then he spammed heal aid. I eventually died to his r1 spamming bullshit. I have never felt so angry in video games before

I was invading in anor londo when I invaded a gank squad. 3 of them just hung out in the back while one guy stood up at the doors (I spawned in front of aldrich's area). He had no armor on and had the dragon head and torso on. He had a quarter health and I [i]thought[/i] I killed him until I realized he used the miracle that endures a killing attack. He killed me in two hits with his sword. I proceeded to invade again, and it was the same group of people. This guy had that damn miracle on again. This time, the entire squad rushed me. I proceeded to invade [i]again[/i], and of course, it was the same -blam!-ing squad for the third time. This time I didn't give them any time to attack and wiped all four of them with my lightning blade sellswords and it was so satisfying lol.

I was outside of archdragon peak and this guy invaded. Using darthe dark sword with the lightning axe as his second, would run into enemies to heal. Just an all around crapfest. So he kills me, and i decide i wanna try n find him for a little payback. So after a couple invasions as a mound maker, i get summoned into a 3 player game, but these guys are cool. 1 on 1, bowing, the other 2 sit down. Legit duel. And then a second invader pops up beside me, and it's the asshat i was looking for. I turn and unload on this guy, stunlocking him into perfect revenge. The guy i was dueling just stops and waited. Then we finish our duel. Pretty great moment

Invaded as an Aldrich faithful, and start looking for the host. I found him after a few minutes with two phantoms, sitting around an item on the ground. After doing a few emotes the host just pointed down at the item so I went to pick it up. It was rubbish, and as soon as I picked it up they all hit me and I went down immediately. It was the only time getting ganked made me laugh.

Invaded at Aldrich's hotspot. Me and a faithful gank a host. Both using greatswords. His backswing hits me as I roll to attack. My spin attack hits him. We kill each other and host walks away with a sliver... I cried a lot.

Only a few nights ago I was just standing outside the dancers boss room, wasn't really doing anything so I decided to just look on wiki on some weapons. Engrossed in reading wiki I look up to see i had been invaded and a red phantom was standing in front of my idle character. I grabbed my controller but too late, the red had already strolled behind me and initiated a backstab. Because I had been idle, my pad turned itself off and it was a frantic rush to turn it back on all the while watching the invader circle me trying to get another backstab in. Luckily the invader thought I was afk and decided to take his leisurely time in finishing me off and was caught completely off guard when I sprang to life smashing my twin drang hammers into his face, I stunlocked him and proceeded destroy him in one combo. He didn't have a chance 😂 I bet he was really pissed about it too lol

I joined a game as a blue sentinel to fight off this mad invader in ithryll. I killed him and continued my playthrough on ng+2 but right when i got invaded by the same mad invader i just killed as a blue phantom. We had a duel and since he was a skrub he chugged estus like no tommorrow. He was spamming roll attacks with the curved greatsword idk why but i too k advantage of it and baited him into a parry and took his whole health bar he just healed. I felt so hyped cause i'd been practicing parrying with shields for my whole playthrough.

Be summoned because of covenant. Can't find guy anywhere. Other guy gets summoned. Almost kill other guy. First guy shows up. Other guy heals. Gets ganged up on. Cries. [spoiler]not really.[/spoiler]
