I chose Hodor but it's close. Ned's daughters witnessed his death. Their anguish was heartbreaking. The red wedding... so tragic and brutal. Stannis Baratheon's little girl. So cruel and senseless. George R.R. Martin loves to torture his fans. There's good reason why he's called a literary serial killer.

This was compounded by the fact that, at the time, the only child she knew for sure wasn't dead or held by the Lannisters was the "bastard"). Still, Hodor really kicked me in the feels like none other. Iron Giant level sacrifice right there.

The Red Wedding for me. The vengeful betrayal of it gets to me, and the helplessness on Robb and Catelyn's faces is just... awful. Then Arya watching Robb's body get paraded around with Grey Wind's head sewn onto it.... When I read that scene in the book I had to re-read it twice just to understand what happened.

10 Repliesi hated it when oberyn got killed... he was my fave character and i shed a tear. when arya's sword instructor was left alone to fight against meryn trant. he probably died because he only had a stick to fight with. i'm kinda good now because arya revenged him. jon snow's death made me really sad :( i was very emotional and shocked. worst one was hodor's death. i've never cried this much because of a tv show before.
