I read that he helps you in Yhorm, but I always kill Yhorm before that part in the questline

Did my first playthrough blind. Didn't expect him to be in the boss room so I was uber surprise the 1st time Yhorm lost a fat chunk of health outta nowhere. "Do your thing Onionbrau! I'll facetank this machete and chug ALL DAY!"
