I want for this to be a forum post that only Bungie replies to because I want to hear from them why we have to pay twice for TTK just because we choose to upgrade. And most of us who did upgrade did it out of the sheer fact that we just recently got the money to do so. And so with that being said why? Why Bungie? why do we have to pay twice for a $40-$80 digital expansion that we have already paid for on our previous gen console and this is a huge problem for many year 1 player who finally got to upgrade. And as a year 1 player hearing that kinda news that TTK is not on Bungies next gen upgrade program but The Dark Below and House of Wolves are? I mean I wouldn't mind re buying TTK if it was for the fact it shits on you for being a year 1 player on previous gen consoles. And I mean it seriously does about half or more then half the content you are locked out of doing. You wanna do a nightfall? Too bad. You wanna do the weekly strike or daily mission? too bad. You wanna take part in Trials or Iron Banner.. Oh wait yeah you need to have TTK in order to take part in a PvP event that has been around since year 1. You might want to try for some strike specific gear because why not you'll have all the time to do legacy strike.. oh wait a second you can't get those because completing strikes from year 1 can drop TTK gear like ghost shells but not strike specific gear like Psion hunter cloaks... WTF Bungie I know this might not have been your decision but there has to be a middle ground that you can have set or else everyones hard work from all of Destiny might as well be toss'd out the window when Destiny 2 rolls on out.

the name of the game is to make money. Can't rightly do that if they give free shit away all the time

Its just like every other game out there. They rarely offer free upgrade to next generation.
