[i][b]The vehicle of the White Scar quickly screeches to a halt only mere meters away from Edmond, Bracheous slowly disembarking from his Bike.
He slid his white and red Chainsword from his back, throwing his arm under it to remove the strap from his neck, and he would eventually wield it in his right hand.
He approached Edmond with curiosity, although he kept a ready stance to him, crouching down to his level all the while pressing the tip of his Chainsword to Edmond's gut. [/b][/i]
"What?"

[b][i]Edmond whispers into your ear. "The Khan swings his sword like a girl..." He whispers with a giggle. Behind you, you hear deep, hysterical laughter as Sarris-Sanguine steps out from the shadows. He falls down on the ground laughing, cracking the ferrocrete highway with his bulk. Edmond laughs too [/i][/b]

"Funny. You know, my chapter is a fallen Successor chapter that kept the name and colours... I'm the last man alive... You just insulted the nearest Khan." [i][b]And with that, Bracheous activated the sass of his Chainsword. He jammed the weapon against his armour, and a sickening scream came from it as the blade cut deeply through Edmond's armour, then his flesh, then the armour again. [/b][/i]

[b][i]Edmonds guts and blood are flung all over your armor as he spasms, they drool down your plate armor in glistening ropes. A great shadow looms over you from behind. "Killing my play thing was a grave mistake.." Comes a deep, terrifying voice. The blow impacts you square in the back, catapulting your body through the freight truck and into a ferrocrete barrier 14 meters away, cracking your armor and breaking ribs. Sarris swats the freight truck aside like it were made of cardboard and draws his giant chaos sword, the Blood Reaper - it bursts into a howling vortex of raw warp energy. "Once I devour your soul, I will piss on your shouldering ashes!!" [/i][/b]

"Ah shit, that... Yeah, I apologize about that one, figured you wouldn't want to take a man that's already injured." [i][b]Bracheous said, the attempt with his words being all he could think to say in order to even attempt to save his own self. He knew it was futile: He's up against a damn Primarch, so he hadn't even tried to stand or fight back, rather he let himself sink to the ground, awaiting his fate. [/b][/i]

[b][i]Sarris starts to come at you, but a strange look passes over his face. You feel a presence nearby. Everything goes red, and the Primarch begins screaming.[/i][/b]

"This... Okay, what in the name of the Emperor is going on?!" [i][b]Bracheous had thought to himself, using his Chainsword to stand to his feet. It hurt like a bitch to do it, but even his broken ribs were unable to hold the Astares down. [/b][/i]

[b][i]Time has stopped. Sarris stands before you immobilized, and you see Edmond is barely clinging to life. The Red Man approaches.[/i][/b]

[i][b]Bracheous had shifted his gaze back and forth between Sarris and the Red Man, attempting to discern which one posed a greater threat to him: He decided on the one who was bending time to his very will as he stared at the Red Man. [/b][/i]

You see something in his eyes... [u]A spinning hourglass...[/u] Your vision goes black and your mind is transported to a time long ago. You're standing in the middle of a black sanded desert. Up in the sky, an eclipse is taking place. Feeling of dread creeps up on you slowly... Fear grips your heart with icy fingers. The Stars begin to fall... The vision ends. You wake up alone, back on the highway. Edmond and Sarris both gone.[/i][/b]
