Well have you tried the sunspot build in PvE? It absolutely destroys, you literally unleash hell. Need a bunch of red health bars killed? Boom, done. Need to do damage on an ultra? Sunbreakers are already great for it, and sunspots add more damage. You can also use it to get out of a tough situation by using the super, getting the over shield, and then making a path for you to follow (although it's just as fun to stay and fight). As long as you can learn to move from sunspot to sunspot, you are set. Oh and aiming hammers an be a bit of a pain, but it's easier in PvE.
