To self-bump is to reply to ones own post in order for it to be seen by others. I find it to be rather effective.

Another, more invasive, method of receiving attention is to post the link to your post in others posts. Effectively, you are stealing their spotlight.

So here I am, self-bumping so my post doesn't slip between the "Nerf ____" posts and gets literally zero attention.

On a side note, I just ate the most scrumptious cinnamon roll. 'Twas very nice.

Also, it's one of the few sunny days in the Scottish calendar year! Clear, blue skies are so rare around here.
