In the Bloodwrath's abandoned arena, an angel fell from the sky.
No, quite literally. The winged woman, about thirteen feet in height, was falling out of the air at a rapid pace, flaming sword in hand. After falling from a portal, she was unconscious. She fell down to the ground, slamming into the floor. Yet, she didn't seem too injured. Her fall left a crater, a pillar of dust was visible from a distance where she had landed. This mysterious stranger was, like the other occupants of the vessel, unaware of her surroundings, and of the circumstances of her arrival...

Bracheous was mid-conversation with the Ultramarines as the spectacle unfolded. He gripped his Chainsword's hilt tightly, and kept his trigger finger wearily over the trigger. He split from the group after telling them that he would investigate the strange woman, and he approached.
-
The patrol of Scions followed him for his investigation. The woman was on the ground, holding her side weakly, groaning. She was half dead, her wings were bent at an awkward and painful angle.
-
"Human?" Bracheous asked himself upon seeing the strange woman that lied there. He slowly approached, putting the Bolter pistol on the ground beside him as he crouched over her. "Miss, are you okay? What's wrong?"
-
"Who... are you..?" "She's human alright... by the Emperor, she's a living saint!" Said one of the Scions. "What's a living saint doing here..?" "Hell, what are we doing here?" "Fair, I guess." She attempted to move, but couldn't. It seemed she had more internal injuries.
-
"I am Bracheous Beranteus of the White Scars, an Astares. These are the Scions that I have found, all of us are with the Imperium of Man. Who would you be?" The Astares responded, a look of curiosity filling the face under the helmet.
-
"Imperium..." "she is in a very bad condition. We need to move her." "Saint... Saint Agnes..."
-
"Scions, do you have anyone with medical training?" Bracheous asked the force of men, before he threw his left hand under the woman's knees and his right hand under her head. He put his Chainsword and Bolter in his arms, using a lot of excellent balance to keep them up and not harm the woman. And with that, he started towards the base.
-
She was very tall and very heavy, hoisting her up was difficult. But since she wasn't using any of her strength, it was slightly easier to lift her, but still quite demanding. "We don't have a medic with us at the moment. Most of them are out on patrol, or back to base."
-
"Then we'll carry her back." Bracheous said, a gust of air escaping his lips as he tried to lift her. The task of doing it wasn't easy, but the strength he did have would need to get the job done. He started walking towards the Scions base, the woman and his weapons in his arms.
-
The Ultramarines caught up to them as they approached the trenches of the Tempestus position, large amounts of turrets could be seen in the area.
-
"Where are the medics?" Bracheous asked the Scions, feeling the weight of the woman starting to take a toll on him. He needed to get the woman some hp, else she'd die, and his moral code dictates he must help all men or women that he can.
-
A group of medics came out of the barracks, rushing towards them. After a quick analysis, they reached a diagnosis. "she has several bone fractures, including in her wings. No internal bleeding... some strained muscles, ribs have also been broken but haven't punctured the lungs."
-
"Thank the emperor. Doesn't sound like she'll die, so where should we let her rest until she's fine?"
-
"Probably the Barracks."
you can continue on the next post I'll make, it'll be a recap of sorts.
*Mortar ran up* Damn not again
-
The woman lay in the crater, half passed out. She groans in apparent pain, her wings were bent at an awkward and painful angle.
-
*Mortar's limbs grow longer, stronger. Three arms protrude from his back, which he uses to grab you* I think I can help you here...
-
She was a lot heavier than she looked, but since she wasn't forcing against him, he was able to lift her, albeit with some difficulty. She groaned again, regaining some consciousness. "Who... are you..?"
-
*grunt* Name's Mortar, an Ex God of the underworld
-
"God..? Emperor... Emperor... protects..." Her eyes slowly open. "Where... am I?"
-
I sure as hell am not an emperor. This is the bloodwrath.
-
"Bloodwrath... I remember the bloodwrath..!" She suddenly breaks free of your grip, standing back on her feet. She towered over him, flaming sword in hand. "Witchcraft... heresy... mutations... I won't stand for this!!" Her eyes suddenly glowed in golden, her brow furrowed by an apparent anger.
-
*Mortar turns back to normal form* WOAH, WOAH! Calm down, you aren't in good condition

Edited by Shadlezz: 5/21/2016 2:09:20 PMHer wings, who were bent at a strange angle, snapped back into place as a wave of golden light shone across her body, healing her wounds completely. She began hovering above the ground, her wings slowly flapping. "I am Saint Agnès... and I will uphold Imperial Justice!" Her voice was suddenly powerful, as if thousands spoke through her.
