"Zebra asked me to describe the Black Garden. Well, You're going to get it, you rat basterd. And the 'Cheese Leads the Way,' Chapter wasn't enough for Z'. Zebra, it's hard to describe something that absolutely takes your breath away. Just play the Black Garden mission or the Undying Mind strike, stop on the hill and admire the view."

**This chapter is from Blake's view**
A different minotaur blindsided me like a linebacker. Like, Boom! Smacked me in the head as quick as lightning.
Worse, right before that, my vision went out of whack. Everything after a range of a foot and half was blurry.
I could no longer see the aqua-blue-green sky as clear as before, nor pick out the peacock green grass, or the pale red poppies, and the periwinkle daisies. And the weird beige-tan concrete stuff that made up ground and walls that separated the garden into sections. The plateau in the distance was a fuzzy image of pale emerald green.
This was why the minotaur blindsided me. It looked like a blur of moss green. For some reason, I thought it was a tree. Boy, was I wrong.
The minotaur smacked me back like 10 feet. I was knocked into Chase.
I could hear the sound of our armor falling onto the weird concrete and echo off the ground and the walls. Echo off the ground and the walls. Echo off the ground and the walls. Off the ground and the walls. The ground and the walls. And the walls. Walls.
I could tell that my helmet fell off.
"Blake, what is wrong with you! Put your helmet back on damn it. Get off me!" Chase yelled.
I groaned. Partially because of the lack of words, partially because I couldn't get up, but mostly because I was in pain.
Kyra replied, "I'll protect him."
I saw a blur of green-orange in front of me. I managed to see an outline of wings of the weird color. Kyra's Radiance.
Chase rolled out from under me. He got up. Chase shook me, "Blake, can you hear me, buddy?"
"Chase, I can hear you, alright. I just can't see a long distance," I replied.
JJ ran over to me, "You sure it wasn't the minotaur? It did knock you back 10 feet. Maybe you should rest a bit."
JJ then deployed his Ward of Dawn. It refreshed my strength, but the only difference in my vision was that now the background was a violet blur.
I managed to get on my feet. Stumbled blindly for a few seconds. I nearly fell but Chase caught me.
Sarah ran over, "What's wrong over here?"
"I can't see! I'm blind!" I replied.
"Damn it. I told Kyra she might shoot her eye out with that Red Ryder shotgun. She needs to-"
"Sarah, I doubt that Kyra shot my eyes out. I can see. I just can't see past about a foot or so."
"Oh, then you're just near-sighted."
She muttered something about Titans and their irresponsible use of the English language. Sarah continued, "Okay, lucky you. I just happen to have a thing of clear contacts."
The word contacts sounded complicated, (Also the fact they sounded like they came in different colors.) so I immediately objected, "F**k no."
"The only way I can get you glasses is if we head back to the Tower."
"I don't mind going back," I replied.
The four of us got to our ships and headed home. We kind of left Mark, Flynn, Cody and Kyra behind. Flame had to pilot my ship.
When we were in the plaza, Sarah told us to head to the vaults to wait. I forgot about the stairs, fell and landed on my face. I think I broke my nose.
"JJ, go get the medkit out of my ship, I'll go fetch the glasses," Sarah said. They ran towards the hangar.
Meanwhile, Chase tore off a section of his mark and held it against my nose, attempting to stop the bleeding.
"Thanks," I said.
JJ ran back real quickly. He dug through the first aid kit. He pulled out a band-aid that looked like a weird sideways "H". He places it where the blood was coming out.
Sarah came. running with come sort of case. Only about a foot long. It was a bright orange and looked like a cylinder with a hemisphere on each end. It had a hammer on it in white.
I stared at her. She was standing one foot in front of me. In my personal space.
"Shut up, your favorite color is orange. Plus, admit it, You're a wannabe pyro," she said.
She unzipped the case and put the glasses on my head. For some reason I was used to this particular pair. Sarah backed up. I could see past her.
"That's funny. You look more familiar with those glasses on," Sarah said.
