Incorrect use of the word "scrub"

It annoys me that a large number of people on these forums seem to be using the term "scrub" when referring to good players. For example, today i saw a forum post claiming that the top 100 trials players are the biggest scrubs.... "Scrub" is a derogatory term used to describe someone who is a noob or is bad at video games. Calling good players scrubs is like calling a year one Gjallahorn underpowered. Stop using this word incorrectly.

  • All of you are wrong. A scrub is a term dating back to original fighting games, such as Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. Scrubs got their name due to their tactics; pressing every possible button on the controller in an almost sweeping fashion, as if they were "scrubbing" the controller.
