It annoys me that a large number of people on these forums seem to be using the term "scrub" when referring to good players. For example, today i saw a forum post claiming that the top 100 trials players are the biggest scrubs....
"Scrub" is a derogatory term used to describe someone who is a noob or is bad at video games.
Calling good players scrubs is like calling a year one Gjallahorn underpowered.
Stop using this word incorrectly.

All of you are wrong. A scrub is a term dating back to original fighting games, such as Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. Scrubs got their name due to their tactics; pressing every possible button on the controller in an almost sweeping fashion, as if they were "scrubbing" the controller.

It's nub, not scrub. Only nubs use the word scrub.

Edited by Gideon VI: 5/18/2016 10:07:07 AMA scrub is someone who thinks their "rules" should apply to everyone to make a game "fair." If a scrub sees a weapon or class they don't like, they call for nerfs and attempts to ban it, and that anyone who uses it is cheap. Funny, OP also incorrectly used scrub.

Look at this scrub
