Dear Bungie,
I recently started a 4th character with a vanilla copy of Destiny on a PS3 I have brought 2nd hand. I am a Beta guardian on Xbox with a Destiny GE and TTK CE. I got my moments of triumph, have only 5 quests left to grind out, and a horrible KD ratio; and the only thing I missed out on completely so far was Crimson Days... (seriously, probably the one full week I have been away from my console and I missed the whole thing!).
When I started my PSN Alt I got a string of Grimorie cards. The ones I entered on Bungie.net. Sadly I do not have my Frontier Shell (up to 333 on Xbox) or other collectible items and gear I have picked up along the way.
I do not propose full cross platform compatibility of all Guardians, all of the time, but with the invention of Kiosks in the Tower (including a ghost one), I think it would be good to have these available across platforms (obviously the exclusive items would remain locked). If it can be done with the Grimoire Cards being tracked across consoles via the companion app/website then hopefully there is a way. This would actually encourage people to play across multiple consoles so more guardians, and more copies of the game could be sold!!! Guardians would still have to level through the content and earn the Fallen Kills scores or infusion fuel.
This is my request.
To take it a step forward, at certain gates (around a major update like TTK) or at each sequel, players could opt to pay silver at the ETC and have that character transferred to a free spot in their roster on their other consoles account including everything they are currently mule'in. This would allow players to take up deals like Destiny console bundles without losing all their progress. The longer Destiny continues down its journey without a function like this, the higher the wall gets for gamers to swap hardware. I have been bitten by the Destiny bug big (more so than the Halo bug). The main reason I opted to go from a 360 to xb1 was only because of the Halo Master Chief collection. I was so close to going back to a PS4 after my PS/PS2 days.
Please Bungie/Activision... there must be a way to keep Sony happy whilst opening up some limited cross console migration. To be honest, unless Microsoft somehow wrangle Destiny exclusivity out of Sony's hands (given that their gamble with The "Destiny Killer" Division" didn't work), it would only be Xbox players looking to get all up in the PSN, while preserving their early investment.
Thank you for your time if you are from Bungie or Activision and have read this.

Full support behind console migration, don't understand why people would be against it.
