What if there never was a beginning to the current universe, or existence. It was just always there. And that our minds can't comprehend true infinity that the universe is. We're trained and raised with definitive starts and ends to thing such as planes, buildings, video games, LIFE, etc. Everything has an end. Except reality.
Since we can't comprehend true infinity, we think of the universe as expanding into, but into what? That's not the answer. What if it only goes so far? Then is it round like planets? Not the answer.
(Touchy subject) We, humans, created gods and goddesses to explain nature and to comfort us. Now gods are for comfort: about death and about the beginning. Even if a God exists, then what created it? Where was its start? Or is God just the universes be not a being or power?
Where was existence's/reality's start? What if there was none? And we created gods and big bangs to explain it. The BB could be the start of the current universe or even just our part. But reality as a whole, it couldn't have been.
So, can we comprehend true infinity? No. We can't comprehend something without a start and something that arguably probably will never end.
So can we truly understand or comprehend it? Will we ever?
