Title's not all that important. Names only mean so much. I never was partial to them.

True But, you never want to be called Gore, that was my old name, filled with disgrace.
-
I go by many more than just my formal title. The underground knows me as The Vengeful Son, the Dead Man Walking, and Scarface. But to be fair, I carry my last name in disgrace for the actions of my father.
-
What did he do?
really? Scarface? Alright Al Capone

It's because of the mask's paint scheme and the three slashes across the side.
My father was one of the commanding officers of Venom Incorporated. A ruthless mercenary, he was responsible for numerous political assassinations, war crimes, and other atrocities during the Third World War.
All part of a novel I'm writing. The father was one of my other characters a long time ago on here. Used RP to get some reaction to villains.
That sounds bad... Of course, my dad wasn't exactly a "nice guy" either
-
You're telling me... He sighed. I assume you've got unique mystical abilities?
-
Mystical, no. Odd and rather useful, yes
-
Magic or innate ability?
-
I never liked the word magic. I've never considered it a good explanation for people's abilities, it is a word more fit for an excuse for a fully grown man to attend a child's birthday party.
-
So what do you call it, then?
-
I call it Sho'uth, meaning Strength in my native tongue
-
Strength.... Innate telekinetic and reality-manipulating ability? Interesting.
-
Wait, what? *I dissolve into the ground and reform where I was standing* I don't know what those were, I just travel through the ground, and do some other cool stuff
-
You say it isn't magic, but it bends the fibers of reality. It's certainly not a product of any sort of technology, is it?
-
No, no. And I said that I didn't like to call it magic, I call it Sho'uth
