From now on I'm going to use this thread to post things I write that I can't keep bottled up. That should give me a nice outlet. So you may see this pop up from time to time.
You can read them if you want, but please, try to focus on constructive criticism if at all possible, I would like to improve.
If anyone else has written something that they need to let out, they can post it here.

Sleep
What can I do? I can't just sleep through this. My head is clear, and I'm free. By dealing with anxiety, depression has taken over. All I want to do is sleep. Please, I'm so tired of everything. Just let me sleep.
Thank you for your time.

Conflict.
I want to be alone, but I don't want to be lonely. I want to be responsible, but I don't want responsibility. I want to be happy, but I don't think I deserve it. I try to be less mechanical, I try to focus less on logic, but that just makes me more confused. I understand that there are no absolutes in reality, but if there's no absolutes, how can I be sure of anything? I believe a man named Church put it best: "There are so many stories about some brave hero, who sacrificed themselves to save the day. The survivors all cheer, and everyone lives happily ever after. But the hero, he never gets to see that ending. He'll never know if this sacrifice made a difference. In the end, he just has to have faith. Ain't that a bitch." But then, what exactly is faith? How do you define an abstract metaphysical idea? What do I have faith in? I don't know, and I am humbled whenever I ask that question. That's the problem with the human brain, we were never meant to understand these things we question. There's only so much within our grasp. I believe that there are things that cannot be explained by science, not because they are paranormal or divine, but simply because they are too far beyond our comprehension. We are but plankton in this endless sea of knowledge. We are nothing among the infinite.
Thank you for your time.

Edited by CliffyWeevil29: 5/13/2016 9:10:17 PMMe.
People always tell me, "you're not alone", and, "it gets better", in a vain attempt to 'fix' me. But that's the problem. By comparing me to successes, you set a standard for my actions. I am not the people who these quotes were made for. I am an individual. I am me. My name is Ryan and I am a person. Don't you dare compare me to anything that's not me. I have my own world, let me live in it.
Thank you for your time.
