Reimplement Weapon Reforging or Increase reputation gained? @Bungie
Weapon reforging was a lot more balanced simply because each individual can customise their weapons to their personal preference and play style rather than a player having a better weapon and having an advantage over others simply because they were lucky. I understand that's apart of RPGs as a genre but I speak for a lot of people when I say that many have way too constricting time frames to dedicate the required time to get a mere chance at the possible weapons they want. A lot of players who paid copious amounts of money for short-lived DLC will never get to experience their dream weapon while others may get that same weapon handed to them on a silver platter and dismantle it instantly if it's not what they wanted. Say a player wanted a Year 1 Vanguard weapon that has been brought into Year 2 (which is arguably a popular task for most players currently), each Heroic Strike takes roughly 10 - 15 minutes to complete and only rewards 150 reputation (without bonds or boosters) so 2500 (amount required to receive a package) / 150 = 17 strikes x 14 minutes each = 238 minutes (4 hours). Anyone who can dedicate that much time on a regular basis for a game, I am extremely envious of you. If you're lucky enough to receive the weapon you want from all that time (which is an extremely low chance), you also have to hope to god it has a good roll on it also or it's written off as infusion fuel or legendary marks.
I highly suggest increasing the reputation gained from activities or reimplementing weapon reforging as it was in Year 1. One could argue that it eliminates a lot play time/value from the game but that's Bungie's fault for their lacklustre performance in creating new content.
