The world was consumed with pollution and mass overpopulation and every living thing the whole Southern Hemisphere became mutated and there is a massive wall that separates the north and south hemispheres. The worldwide government has a rule that when a child turns a certain age (like 16 or something) they have I take a test and if they get a bad enough score on it, they are forced to join the NDF (Northern Defense Front) and defend the wall against the hordes of mutated things (people and animals) and sometimes even go on recon missions to take over more land and expand the wall. I was a kid who did not pass the test and I was working with countless others to defend the wall for most of the dream but the last 1/4th I was with an elite team trying to locate data on the pollution from a testing station a few miles away from the wall and when we got there, it had been overrun by a mutant human tribe thing. We cleared most of the building but we were clearing the last room and there was only one guy in there but he had a dead-man's detonator (hold it down and when you release it, boom, so when you die it goes off) and the whole room was wired with C4 and the guy told us that the whole complex was wired with it too, the dream ended when he let go of the detonator.
TL;DR- I had a dream that basically combined Divergent, Legend, Scorch Trials, and Donald Trump
Currently working on writing a story that takes place in this universe, please keep up the great support so I stay motivated

That's pretty freakin cool

Never had a lucid dream, at least not one I remember.

Edited by PKun, Grey Knight: 5/10/2016 6:48:12 PMWeird. Meanwhile, I had somewhat of a lucid dream last night, that started with me in a desert area, sliding down a sand dune and then walking homeward. During said walk, I got bored, pulled out the shovel I mysteriously found on my back, and saw it turn into an M16. Pretty chill for the rest of said dream, until I beat some asshats with a sudden surge in the Force.

I had a weird lucid dream where I couldn't sleep because my body was overheating, but every time I closed my eyes, my imagination went on overload, and I kept seeing colored silhouettes of Spartans from the Halo series fighting each other in CQC like some dramatic comic book movie sequence.
-
I once triggered a lucid dream by looking at 3 notifications on my phone in the dream and questioning it.
when I woke up I laughed
I'd buy that game.

Edited by Wortle: 5/9/2016 11:48:10 PMWhen I first heard about the wall and the test I was like,"Holy shit did this guy dream Legend?"
Trump's Divergelegend Trials

wort

wort
There should be a division of the NDF and that are snipers on the wall.

Dude, this needs to be a video game.

Did you play on Xbox 360?
does anybody understand that reference?
Spoilers, you lived.

My opinion of the poll: 2 and 3 should be a thing. 4 is misunderstanding that this is just a mental simulation putting you in control, as if you were testing a game without being aware of it entirely. Intriguing story. You may want to expand on this in the ways you suggested to yourself.

In one of my dreams that shit happened to me too. The thing at the end that happened to you. Guy letting go of the detonator. My version is: I have no idea what tge first part is but at the end Morgan Freeman came and said: "well, now it's time for you to wake up." I was like wtf but then I woke up.
there is a massive wall that separates the north and south hemispheres
OP is Donald Trump confirmed.

2/10 Not enough descriptions of the wall.

I don't want to upset you or anything, but... Reading/hearing about people's dreams is just about #1 on my things-that'll-make-me-commit-suicide list.

I think I'd fail that test on purpose.
gotta protect my walls.👍
