All over the Internet transphobic bigots are spreading the silly and misguided narrative about the evil trans people who are praying on young children inside of public bathrooms all over America!
I've already made a rant before about why I feel the entire concept of gender specific bathrooms is both terrible, and moronic. For the sake of brevity, I'm not going to repeat the same points again.
So really how often does sexual assault occur inside of a public bathroom? Are public bathrooms hotbeds of sexual assault? No. They're really not.
Most of the users on this site are men. Let me just ask all the men here a question. What is your public bathroom experience like? Do people walk around naked? Do you often see bare asses and genitals hanging out?
Do you socialize? Say hello to all the people pissing? Look them in the eyes? Unless you're a -blam!-ing lunatic the answer to all those questions are no!!!!
Nobody wants to interact with other people in public to start and most certainly not when you're pants are down. Well....
Regardless of other people's fetishes, the entire reasoning of enacting a law against trans people from using their assigned gender or their changed sex is completely and utterly flawed.
If these law were setup to prevent sexual assault in public bathrooms, why not enact a law that prevents sexual assault convicts from using public bathrooms? How the -blam!- is a this law going to stop somebody from entering a public bathroom anyway?
If somebody is actually walking into a bathroom with the intent to sexually assault somebody they're going to go in no matter what. In fact, this law changes nothing. It's not like it creates a force field around the bathroom.
Plus, wouldn't people hear a sexual assault in a public bathroom? Mostly because.... it's in public?
Often I hear the idea that; "they have a sexual drive so they cannot be trusted in the bathroom." Okay....? Then should we ban gay people from bathrooms? We can have a gay bathroom I guess. But wait. If gay people are attracted to each other then the entire bathroom will turn out to be nothing but a giant sexual assault cesspool!
Really. Thinking about the logic asserted for why these laws are needed for more than 30 seconds reveals the nonsensical rhetoric contained within them.
The truth is that these laws were enacted because people hate, fear and don't understand trans people. Not only is it insulting to the concept of freedom that this country pretends to believe in, but it's also insult to everybody with a -blam!-ing brain.
Don't try to sway us with your bullshit arguments. The truth is that anybody who makes these types of arguments are nothing more than transphobic bigots.
A trans person that looks like the opposite sex, and that can not be picked as once being male or female by the general population should not be forced by society to go through the humiliation or torment all because of some over hyped nonsensical hysteria.
The truth is though; most people can not pick out a trans person who has undergone treatment. They'll use the bathroom anyway geniuses. The laws are only going to end up causing harassment for trans people transitioning into the the other sex, and it's certainly not going to stop any sexual assaults.
