The Worm Gods instruct the sisters to return to their home continent. They are to spread the worm larvae to the people of the Osmium Court, Helium Drinkers, Star Cutters, and Bone Plaza. Anyone who refuses is to be left behind to be destroyed by the ever approaching god-wave caused by the syzygy. The sisters advance on their home continent and retake it, offering the gift of the worm to their people. Taox and what's left of her forces flee to the Helium Drinkers' home continent, the Hydrogen Fountain. The Worm Gods are glad that this act of vengeance was committed, but they know that it is not enough. The sisters and their new armies are to arrack and plunder the 511 species that live on Fundament, looking for the technology to escape the gas giant. The armies of the sisters manage to conquer two percent of Fundament, which is a lot, considering its size and the number of different species call it home. Taox and those who have refused the worm, a faction called the Refusalists have gone to Kaharn Atoll, a place where many species gather. There, Taox hopes to turn the multitude of species against Auryx and his sisters. Meanwhile the Leviathan has gone around the planet destroying all technology that could allow the sisters and their forces to escape.
The Worms tell Xivu Arath to attack Kaharn Atoll and slaughter everyone there. From the killing the Worm Gods can obtain the logic required to cut through space itself. Then they go and speak to Auryx. They sometimes sense that he is sad because of all the life being snuffed out and point out that this is the proper way of the universe. They order him to meet up with all of their forces at Kaharn Atoll, where they have opened a portal leading to orbit. Once there, the Worm Gods discover that the 52 moons host a starfaring civilization called the Ammonite. They find that Taox has fled the the Ammonite capital and that they have allowed her to hide there. The Worm Gods try appealing to the Ammonite's hopes and dreams, but are unsuccessful because the Ammonite people are already happy. They detect a diving presence of the Sky in Fundament's orbit. A 53rd moon. A Traveler: able to terraform and adjust the orbit of planets and moons. Enraged by this, the Worm Gods command Auryx to completely wipe out the Ammonite people. However, Auryx, burdened by all the killing, refuses. The Worm Gods chastise Auryx heavily for this, and they armies are slowly pushed back. Once again, the Worm Gods must burrow to the core of a world to survive. They speak to Savathûn and tell her to appeal to Auryx and try to convince him out of his depression. They speak the Xivu Arath and tell him to breed his armies and disperse them across many moons of Fundament. Eventually the Ammonite begin to use paracusal weapons, whose source is the Traveler. This makes Auryx curious and it is now that the Worm Gods speak to him yet again. They tell him to kill one hundred of his brood and see how reality is affected by this new logic, this Sword Logic. However, Auryx refuses yet again. He contacts the Ammonite Satellite Congress and wants to initiate a truce with them and at last the Worm Gods tell Savathûn to murder Auryx. She does so without hesitation.
Curiously, Auryx survives this. He wakes up in a strange world, a pocket dimension created from his might: a Throne World. Meanwhile the Leviathan has broken to orbit and is traveling to the Ammonite home world, guarded by Ammonite heroes. The Leviathan appeals to the three sisters one last time, but it quickly met with the scorn and fury of the Worm Gods. Xivu Arath and Savathûn attack and both the Leviathan and all of the Ammonite heroes are dead. The Worm Gods feast of the Leviathan's flesh, and the Traveler has fled. And at last, Auryx understands.

I just don't understand why Bungie does not include the lore of the game inside the game itself through cutscenes and such. Like they did with Halo. Great summary though! It makes so much more sense reading this than it does the grimoire.
