(TL:DR or Summary at bottom)
Please bear with me as I try to make this as formal as possible.
The Situation:
In my current situation, I am about to lose the ability to play Destiny. Last month, I moved from an old generation console (Xbox 360) to a new generation console (Xbox one), and in the process, unable to purchase a copy Destiny in any edition/form, losing the DLC I have purchased both digitally and in-game.
This includes the following:
-Destiny (Xbox 360): $60
-Destiny (Expansion 1: The Dark Below, Xbox 360): $20
-Destiny (Expansion 2: House of Wolves, Xbox 360): $20
-Destiny (Taken King: Collectors Edition Content, In game Purchase) $60.
-Total Amount of Money Spent: $160 + tax
-Note: (I payed for this with allowence earned from parents)
All of that, gone, unaccessible, due to moving to a next generation console.
The only reason on how I am able to play it currently, is from a hard copy Base Version of Destiny from my older brother, making my Xbox One home to someone else's account, downloading the dlc they own onto my Xbox One console, and playing Destiny, with all 3 DLC's purchasesd.
Point(s) of View:
From my perspective, (A 13 year old's perspective) it is very discouraging to rebuy Destiny (and it's DLCs) after upgrading from an old generation console to new generation console. I had to earn money from my parents from working, through allowence. The same thing goes for me purchasing an Xbox One at the cost of not having allowencd till may Birthday, which is May 24. So Consequentially, I'm stuck till then.
For those that probably suggest, "Mow Lawns" or "Wash people's Cars", we have landscapers at the first Saturday of every month. And its going to rain soon, by the time this is posted most likely. And the weather just cooled down, so probably this isn't the best time to make lemonade.
Another Point of View would be from people that work and spend their extra cash they can spare on family activites/video games would cost them to pay extra. They might need to pay extra cash for this and would rather save cash on accessories or other things related.
Economics/Politics/Misc...:
As a company Bungie, you may suffer a massive loss of players that won't continue to play Destiny and might lose a lot of cash unless you address this issue. Most people stay on last gen due to this game because they would have to repurchase Destiny and it's DLC's. I have also read/heard rumors. that Last Gen is preventing this game from having update. Not to mention, you lost so many important story writers and a very famous voice actor.
Making people repurchasing Destiny may good in the long run, but without giving content that they can't upgrade to from last gen when they payed for it is ripping people off in my eyes. I can understand if you can say, that's an issue with the Console's Developer and Publisher, but if you can give players access to their content that they payed for on a last generation content in a new updated version on a current generation console with our requiring them to spend money, it would be amazing. You would probably see more people transfer to current generation consoles and won't have to suffer from updates being held back from last generation console. Destiny Sales would go up in the near future.
That's my feedback.
TL:DR/Summary:
-Upgraded From Xbox 360 to Xbox One.
-Couldn't buy Destiny on Xbox One
-Please make us Play Destiny's DLC on a newer console without repurchasing it/already buying it on a last generation.
-Allowence is preventing it.
-Sales would go up.
-Destiny gets more players.
Edit: Please Share this
Edit 2: someone mentioned that just buy Legendary Taken King Destiny. If I don't buy the collectors edition, I will have gotten ripped of emotes and shaders and emblems. Which I actually do enjoy.

If I recall correctly, Bungie does have a program that, if you are eligible, allows you to upgrade your console form last-gen under certain circumstances. Also, you can get all the aformentioned items from the TTK collector's edition; it was originally $80, but I don't know how much it is now.
