OK so we all know our famous/infamous red death (depending on which meta you were)....but a thought came to mind lately and It bugs me for while
Fact is that red death was in a different archetype which was considered the very high impact (like the messenger)
And at some point I don't remember when it got transfered to medium-high impact (like SUROS PDX-41)...
now my thought is...red death was one of the few very high impact pulse rifles and it had one of the most consistent perks in the game while being able to two burst very easily...for bungie to balance that.gave it low range and meh stability..
My question is...since they changed the archetype to a lower one...why didn't they change the other stats as well?
I have excluded that they didn't do it for balance since the only thing going for it is the health regeneration at this point...even the most used barrel aggressive, was nerfed...and pretty much any legendary at this point Is better as far as stats go from this category.
Was it a rushed decision from bungie?did they thought this through even a little bit?
My suggestion is either bring it back in the very high impact that it was without altering the other stats...
OR
Change the stats to make it a viable choice for people who want to use this gun.
Red death is a shadow of its former self
Hope u listen bungie
