Should They Remake The Prequels?
*A Wild Gringo has appeared*
Hola and May the 4th be with you. As unlikely as it would be (George Lucas wouldn't do it over his dead body and the movies have terrible stigma), I think remaking that Star Wars prequels would be a good idea. I know most people don't like them, but at the same time for those people I, II, and III thorns in their sides. It detracts from their experience watching the other movies. It is hard watching Darth Vader and taking him seriously when he is the same person who did this: https://youtu.be/8bLkcCZFKvA
I know you are reading this and thinking, "God no!", but hear me out. There are some moments that really shine in the prequels, like https://youtu.be/tCuUIkEtJjo or https://youtu.be/v_YozYt8l-g. And taking creative license they could crop out someone like Jar Jar Binks or https://youtu.be/2tLf1JO5bvE. They could rework the plot a little to make us feel more invested in the characters. Better acting and better (meaning less) CGI to make them more enjoyable.
So what are your thoughts?

No. Here's what they should do. Re-release the prequel movies with: Enhanced CGI Cut out all or at least most of the cheesy lines and dialogue. Remove as much Jar Jar as much as possible Anything else I missed that drags down the movies as a whole

No they did fine with the clone wars series despite it tearing up the EU

If those remakes were done, eventually disney would end up remaking the original ones because of money. So, hell no. Leave the prequels as monuments to mistakes that were done and should never be repeated. Stop milking franchises.
