Alliterate Soldiers community members spotlight (Millenium_Milk)
Every week we will be throwing the spotlight on one or more of our Clan members, this is to showcase our community and the clan as a whole. Each week we ask members to answer 10 questions relating to their gaming past, destiny experience and membership to the Clan.
Millenium_Milk Founder / Glorious Leader
1. Why did you choose that gamertag and what is the background to it
My gamertag came from when I first got my PS2, trying to come up with a profile name for Timesplitters. Looking for inspiration from around my living room I saw the Christmas cards with Happy Millennium, and next to me was a glass of Milk. I know, genius me!
Due to me not double checking what I typed with the amazing keypad text selector, I had to settle with the miss spelling of Millenium_Milk, not that anyone mentioned in the past!
Before this I always went by gamertag of Lucicerious, but that's another story!
2. Why did you decide to create the Alliterate Soldiers
I decided to create Alliterate Soldiers after meeting two random players during the Destiny Beta on PS3, NapalmNorris and FireFlux. Because we all had alliteration in our names I decided to call the clan based on that. My brother already had a PS4 and tempted me to get one too. The other two Co-founders did the same, FireFlux played the game up until he hit level 6 and disappeared, NapalmNorris stopped playing just before house of wolves came.
3. What do you like the most about the Clan
What I like most about the clan is how it's adapted, to begin with it was just a bunch of friends and friends of friends, about 5 of us at first. But as the clan expanded so did it's dynamic. It was no longer just a few mates, it was a few people to play with and have fun. Then when it got large it was all about managing members and ensuring they all got to enjoy the game! Though the clan no longer has that camaraderie between all it's members. It's still a great social community to be a part of and manage.
4. What would you like to see added to improve the Clan
I'd love to get a website up and running, and if I had known programming, I'd have set up something similar to Destiny clan wars website, just for our clan member to compete against each other and with each other. But I've made so many improvements to the clan over the year I'm more than happy where it is at the moment.
5. What is your first or main character including set up I.e subclass
My first character in Beta was a Titan, but after getting to test them all I found the hunter to be more my play style. Blade Dance with blink! I'm afraid I was one of those first people to cause anger with blink/shotgun combo!
6. What are your favourite weapons i.e primary, special and heavy
Favourite weapons! They change all the time, I try to have all three characters using different combos, to keep it interesting and challenging! Hunter uses Pulse/shotgun, warlock uses scout/fusion and titan uses auto/shotgun. Used to try using snipers but I'm a rubbish marksman!
I miss my Invisible Hand M7 shotgun though, fast rate of fire, range finder, shot package and full auto. Won me a few games and Trials matches!
7. What is your favourite game type and why
Raids used to be my go to game type, it challenged me and was a great social event that built upon team work. But with lack of new raid material and same old same old, a lot of the time now i'm drawn to Trials and Iron Banner for that team play experience!
8. What is your fondest moment from playing Destiny
Fondest moments, I think it's from when everything was new, and you did things for the first time. I loved running the raids the first times, unexpeirenced in what to do! Spending 4 to 5 hours to try and tackle our first raid completion!
9. What keeps you playing Destiny
Think it's just the community and getting to play with them that keeps me going. It certainly isn't the tons of new content!
10. What is the current in-game goal you're trying to complete
I ran out of goals, and I never go for the insane ones, like get max grimoire, or max light. I guess a flawless raider is the last big thing worth trying to go for that I have left to do!
