Every week we will be throwing the spotlight on one or more of our Clan members, this is to showcase our community and the clan as a whole. Each week we ask members to answer 10 questions relating to their gaming past, destiny experience and membership to the Clan. [b]SonjasRevenge[/b] Adept Clan Member [b]1. Why did you choose that gamertag and what is the background to it[/b] When I met my husband I didn't have a gamertag since I didn't own a PS3 or Xbox. He, however, had both (which was awesome!! We spent our courtship playing Borderlands and Left 4 Dead) Eventually he offered to set up a PSN account for me and very sweetly suggested a gamertag to match his own Conan the Barbarian inspired one. (I guess that's when I knew things were serious!) [b]2. Why did you decide to join the Alliterate Soldiers[/b] I had hit the point where playing Destiny alone was boring. It was difficult to find a clan that was active during the day so I made a post in the recruitment forum and Leon was one of several who responded. I was really impressed with how patiently he answered my questions, and since UK evenings align with Canadian afternoons it was a good fit [b]3. What do you like the most about the Clan[/b] Everyone is so welcoming and helpful! I especially love being able to have friendly conversations over the mics; it's such a welcome reprieve from the name-calling and trash-talking you usually hear from randoms! [b]4. What would you like to see added to improve the Clan[/b] Hmm ... maybe something that might help new or shy members become easily familiar with who's who? LesUber's idea of admins streaming with clan members, and tkdmart's suggestion of ghost hunting tours might be good for that. [b]5. What is your first or main character including set up I.e subclass[/b] My first character was a Warlock voidwalker, but when I got to lvl 40 I decided I didn't like her hair colour. So I deleted her, re-designed her ... and then promptly switched over to a Titan! Now I main a bright pink Defender, because for some reason -no matter the game- I always gravitate towards support characters. [b]6. What are your favourite weapons i.e primary, special and heavy[/b] I'm still a huge Destiny noob, and I don't have a head for stats so I can't really name anything specific. But I like scout rifles for their accuracy and impact, especially the Mida Muli-tool, and I've always been a fan of shotguns (I'm using a 4th Horseman atm). I very rarely use heavy weapons, but I guess swords are pretty cool. [b]7. What is your favourite game type and why[/b] I absolutely love PvE, specifically strikes. I've always preferred working together as a team (plus I'm absolutely terrible at PvP. If you ever want to feel better about your crucible scores put me on your team; I guarantee you'll never get last place on the list! X3) [b]8. What is your fondest moment from playing Destiny[/b] The very first time I worked up the courage to ask the clan for help with strikes Killfest and Shadowfox gave me a hand. I was super nervous about being on mic and meeting new people, but before I knew it several hours had passed and I had been laughing so much my tummy hurt! It was a blast! [b]9. What keeps you playing Destiny[/b] It's entertaining, and the clan helps keep it interesting. Plus it would be great to eventually become knowledgeable enough to help out new players, I think that would be a lot of fun! :D [b]10. What is the current in-game goal you're trying to complete[/b] To actually finish everything, especially all the raids and PoE! But mostly I just want to collect as many shaders and emblems that I can! ;)
