Jealousy over your fellow guardians' abilities is not a good reason to strip a class of what makes them unique. Look at each class, you'll notice they all have a unique ability and an ability they share with only one class.
Titans+hunters- evade
Hunters+warlock- blink
Warlocks+titans- overshield
Titan- shoulder charge
Hunter- invisibility, thrown melee
Warlock- self revive, energy drain
Can we try and keep that dynamic so the classes remain interesting and not 3 identical clones?
edit: any abilities that are subpar should be buffed to more competitive levels.
More edits: it seems this topic is finally dead, so i don't have to worry about this post getting too long. I'll just add some of my opinions on things that came up in this topic.
This list is not comprehensive. It does not list every ability available to every class.
Exotic armor
[spoiler]some people mentioned that exotic armor shouldn't count for what a class is capable of doing. This makes sense because the abilities granted by armor, like twilight garrison, isn't an intrinsic part of the class. The class needs help from that outside source to function.
However, when looking at a class, don't you take into consideration what exotics are available to them? Exotic armor is a tool available to that class and only that class. That tool impacts your decision on what class to pick and how best to play it.
As an (atrocious) example: if bungie released an exotic that granted self revive instantly after every death to titans, people would be more likely to play as a titan because of that tool that is only available to them.

Equality of powers
[spoiler]the abilities listed above are not a perfect one to one relation. Titan's overshield occurs on kill and the warlock gets theirs on hit. A titan's overshield generates orbs, regenerates, or improves weapon handling. A warlock's overshield does none of those things.
The abilities also use different aspects of a given class. Self revive requires a super and shadestep/shoulder charge don't even use up a standard melee or grenade.
I'll admit i honestly don't care about either of these points. An overshield is an overshield regardless of how it got there or what extra things it might be capable of. As far as i'm concerned a unique ability is worth mentioning regardless of its source.

Warlocks need an evade that simultaneously launches a firebolt grenade. Yeah, I said it.
