Have you finished Desolate set WITHOUT real $$$?
I personally used up my xbox rewards and was able to open 10 Sterling Treasure packages. In addition to my free packages I've opened about 20 and have only received one Desolate item.
How about everyone else?

2 RepliesYeah, I've gotten a full Destolate set on my Titan without spending real cash. I've also gotten all Spektar items except the Chest Piece / Class Item, and the Taken Ship.

2 RepliesHonestly I am not trying for it. If I get it I get it, if I don't I don't. Honestly wish we got a taken shader instead of an Emote.....would really motivate me to actually try for the set more.

Well opened two with my Titan and got another spectar helmet which I had and a spectar warlock robes which I also had. Still haven't done 41 for the third but not gonna decrypt on my Titan he ha no luck.

Well, after i talked a lot of shit about how long its taking to get a set, i finally pull a helmet out of this weeks postmaster sterling. Desolate set complete. Too bad its ugly as fk on the titan lol

4 RepliesDidn't spend a dime. Also you can delete every piece of desolate gear you get but when you get the last piece you still get the emote.

1 ReplySpent no money. Only desolate items I have are warlock helmet & bond. Already had spectar hunter grasps. My last 2 sterling packages contained..... Spectar hunter grasps & one blue chroma. Spectar hunter grasps & one vanguard booster. Yay

I don't care, I got the sparrow, and both ships from weekly packages and never spent a dime! (Space age mariner from first ever package, waning star from 7th and sparrow from 9th.)
