I have 75 Mb/s internet, destiny still says my network is strict when I launch it. Regardless I'm rarely red bar, but I did get error coded quite a bit. Tell me, should I just pay more than the 150 a month I do now to get petabit/s DL to cater to one games shitty netcode?

You are confusing speed with volume. IE you can get a lot of data at once. But it may not all get there at a a consistent rate. Which is fine for movies and music, but is terminal for games. You can't just buffer game information(tho it does to an extent) then piece it back together. Which is why you get teleporting and weird deaths.

Every other game works flawlessly, I played destiny for a year and a half and always had issues

Speeds not everything get broad banned upgrade

My entire setup is primo, I run everything else great. The netcode for this game is just bad.

What router do you use?

I just have a cat6e glued to a toaster atm

Mate, you don't have 75Mbps UPSTREAM... that's your downlink speed, your uplink speed will be far lower than that... that's where the problem is...
-
It's hovering around 30 Mbps soo..

Really, go read your contract or post a link from any operator who gives you downlink = uplink in Europe.... Yes it exists, but I'm sure most people won't have enough budget for it ;)
-
I don't really live in Europe. So..... ._. And that was a friends internet anyways ._.
I don't really live in Europe. So.....
Good for you ;) I hope I wont get to play with you laggers in the nearby future :)
-
Same ._. The only lag I experience is when I play with people from Europe or occasionally Japan.

Fiber optics. Only way to get up the same as down

Hmmm might be... I have pretty meh internet but I saw it at a friends house in a different country lol.

Make sure your modem is set to bridge mode, or turn the NAT to open as well as the router (better just to put it into bridge)
-
Go to your advanced router settings. There will be a natural type option, open or secured. Click open and it may reset your router. You should have open nat type. Nat type basically let's you connect to people with open nat type. For example on 360 you wouldn't be able to connect to certain people sometimes. That's cause both those people had closed nat types

Latency> download speed
