I take the opportunity to grab the bottle away from you. After that, I am unsure what to do, and just stare at you in confusion

Po huddles into a ball, crying. All of his magic has disappeared. The little men have turned back to blood, and the undead are back to being just corpses. Po seems to whispering to himself.[/u I don't want the voices.... Make them stop... He takes out a leather book and throws it away, then scrambles to retrieve it. He seems to be attached to the book, but disgusted by it at the same time.

Frozen in place by shock.. I finally snap out of it and walk over to him Voices?
-
Po shudders, then notices you. Ever since I read this... Monstrosity, and gave in to the notion of power, there's always been a price. Power always has a price..... Po cradles the book in his arms. Upon further inspection, the book is made out of human skin. The front of has a title written in ancient symbols, lost to time.
-
This.. Book. This is how you are able to do what you can do?
-
Po nods silently as tears stream down his face. This is how I control the dead. This is how I switch bodies. This is why the voices are always there.... Po starts to shudder uncontrollably.

I hold out my hand to help you up You've lasted this long with them, haven't you?
-
Po takes your hand, still clutching the book. I went insane for 214 years. 214 years of torture. 214 years of having the voices control me, and tear at my sanity. I am but a shell of a man that I once was stores in somebody else's dead body. This book is but a curse that keeps me alive, and tortures me to remind me what I gave for my power.
-
I pull you to your feet, and start leading you away from the party .. I don't know what to say.. How did you regain your sanity?
-
Po looks at you with a dazed look. Who ever said I regained it? I've only gotten better at concealing the fact and preoccupying myself with my studies. When I have nothing to do or time to spare, it creeps back, invading my mind like a plague washing over town, killing all of the defenseless inhabitants.
-
That is.. Troubling, to say the least...
-
Po nods in a agreement. I don't think I should consume alcoholic beverages anymore. They give me to much to think about and let the voices back in.
-
I agree.. Perhaps you should go get some rest. An incident like that is hard to recover from at a loud party.
-
Po starts to walk away. Thank you for helping me calm down. I'm going to get some sleep.
