Edit 3: just to make it clear, the question on the very weird times (see below) is what [b]is causing this to be what I see on my end[/b]. Yes, the times here are not possible, and that's the point. I've moved this to the help section and edited the title accordingly.

Going over my footage from this iron banner I found the following:
-it takes the doctrine 0.3 seconds to kill a sunbreaker from mid to long range (0.5 at the furthest range)
-those fighting at ~20 light lower using the doctrine can kill a sunbreaker in 0.14 seconds at close to medium range
-hammers and grenades need a hit detection fix (hopefully the next patch)
Edit: this is when the sunbreaker super is active at full health
Edit 2: seems there are a few bullies lobbing insults around, just as one would expect from Internet trolls; I pity you. Anyhow, amongst the replies there are good points on the impossibility of the above stats, so I'll clarify the obvious facts: this is from captured footage, this is what is shown on my screen, and the timing is from that too, so stating that the maths is wrong makes no sense (for starters the computer is doing the 'maths';I.e. Counting seconds); what would make sense would to say it was lag or other type of issue of that nature (for the record, I've been green bar all the while). Thought on what's happening here?

the doctrines max ttk on no extra armor its like a 0.8 how the fck can you kill a sunbreaker with double health in 0.3

It's just cause that weapon is to accurate with its high fire rate, an every roll you get for the gun is damn near perfect.

Dude I'm sorry, but there's absolutely no way those numbers are right. Nothing in this game is going to kill a Sunbreaker in .3 seconds except for a sniper or maybe a shotgun melee combo. Those numbers are wrong.

You were probably getting teamshot. A guy with dop doesn't stand a chance against sunbreaker unlesd you just stand there.

Sunbreaker is just a bad subclass after it was reworked, and the whole weapon meta is out of whack. Between the hit detection problems and lack of decent perks it just isnt worth picking anymore over striker.

Doctrine kills sunbreakers that fast? I've done the math, and the doctrine shoots at 15 rounds a second, how many does it take to kill a regular guardian? About 15-16 if they are all headshots.

The Doctrine is what the Vex Mythoclast, Thorn and Hopscotch Pilgrim were in their prime, in that it is a carrot (to get people into Trials). Once enough have one , it'll be stripped of its power as was the Vex Mythoclast, Thorn and Hopscotch Pilgrim. Be patient...
