I hope your neighbor changes the WiFi password ;) <3
Edit: Got some troubleshooting tips for you red bar warriors. Alright so ask your mom for like 15 bucks, buy a really long (and I mean really long) ethernet cord. Next, knock on your neighbors door and tell them you need to inspect their router while hiding the cord behind your back. Plug that bad boy in and make sure you have a Pabst blue ribbon in hand to make sure it all goes smoothly. Congratulations, you've upgraded to a yellow bar ;))))))
Edit 2: You people realize this is a joke?
Got several private messages of people whining with paragraphs of these random people telling me about myself. Just comment down below so we can all share in laughing at you.

But Bungie has told us they are putting in the damage ref which is to cure this. This must be true because Bungie knows all and has been putting in new match making improvements for Months and Months and people with their skill levels are absolute in these areas. Sooooo with that in mind and the fact that the red bar warriors still top every board they are in it is clear they ARE the most deeply skilled players in the game. They all have the flawless emblems, they always lead every board even though bungie has made the damage ref against them. Their skills are clearly limitless.
-
But be careful, if the cord is to long it will take that much longer for the information to traverse said cable.
-
If I red bar. I leave immediately. Bad for my team Bad for the lobby's overall connection And lastly, bad for me. Very very bad
-
I actually have a 50 ft cable, now I'm always green bar. With wifi I was at 14 mbps now I'm at 65-70 mbps.
-
Lol it's actually sad I have an Ethernet cable that would be long enough to do just that xD
-
Op doesn't know what he is talking about. The password is always Swordfish.
-
10/10 hilarious.
-
Alright I'm plugged in now they don't suspect a thing
-
Sorry dude but I red bar in solo campaign missions and it damn sure ain't my internet being as to how I don't ever lag on anything else other than Destiny. Bungie's networking is a piece of shit when every activity I do lags, regardless of whether anybody else is even around me.
-
But my neighbors aren't smart enough to even get my password..
-
I've been red bar quite a few times which happens when a bunch of people hop on netflix in my home. I can tell you from experience: It doesn't make it any easier on me! If anything, due to the damage referee it is hard as hell for me to kill people! I'd rather get kicked out of match making then try and play like that
-
The rare times I start red barring because I can hear Netflix being streamed in 2 different rooms and someone else is online on our xbox 1, I watch what my connection is each time I die, and if I'm still red at the end of the match, I leave matchmaking and do something solo until I've been constantly green for several minutes because even if I'm not teleporting around the map, playing while red just looks bad, imo. The only slightly comforting thing after being killed by a red bar when, for example, we should've traded shotgun kills, is when I'm spawned in the same area, I see them running towards me, then randomly dropping because I my original shot finally killed them after a 30 sec delay. And to people who say their connection is bad because they live in the middle of nowhere or have the best internet available/can afford or the connection sucks because it's going through multiple brick walls, I'm sorry but life isn't fair. Rationalize all you want or make all the excuses you want, but a bad connection is a bad connection. I don't mean to be overly cruel or harsh, but merely stating reality. Though it does go both ways. We might not like playing with red bars and we can give an empty ultimatum of get better internet or quit, but life still isn't fair, and we still will be playing with red bars. For every person who does change internet, going from red to yellow or green, I'm sure there will be another red to take their place.
-
Did it occur to you some people live in the middle of nowhere? Or some places like say Australia getting good internet is not really an option. If you do not like the people you play against you can just press back and go to orbit. :)
-
I usually have a god awful connection due to the WiFi having to go through two brick walls to make it to my room, despite the router being in the same house. Iron Banana has been brutal this week for me.
-
It always shows me red barring but I nor my teammates never experience lag. I have not gotten hate mail either. Weird.
-
Lol never thought I would see good satirical posts in year 2
-
Not my fault I have shut internet service in my room. Learn to shoot like a stormtrooper and you'll actually probably hit me
-
Its not always that the other player has a bad network, could be a player in china was matched with 11 players from the East coast....then his connection to the other players is poor, not his connection to the game. Could be he appears green on his end and the 11 players show as RED.....so whose to blame?? Not the players.
-
I've been lagging lately in 6v6...never used to happen before about 5-6 weeks ago. I can confident tell you that I NEVER have the advantage when my connection goes bad. NEVER. I get killed in ways that seem ridiculous...all I get is assists...my enemies are gods who can't die. I don't know what cheaters out there are manipulating their connection to their benefit but I've learned lately that it's given me, you, and everyone on this forum the wrong impression on what red bar really means for someone.
-
Laughing at all the little cry baby squeakers getting upset over this XD
they're blind it seems, I'm pretty sure there's a satire tag
-
Me has shitty Internet
-
To all you people giving the OP shit about his post, if you are red bar and popping in and out of the map....I'm reporting you for a bad connection. Period!
-
Lag sucks. Everyone blames the red bars. I think a lot of the issue is caused by shitty networking more than individual shitty Internet. Matchmaking also plays a role.

-
Sorry I can barely afford McDonald's free wifi
-
What's wifi? Dial up ftw.
