So what the hell am I seeing after the Sun sets? That's still the Sun? How did it move the other horizon so fast? Why is it a different color now?
Good job, Bungie. Immersion broken.

Destiny had so much potential to indirectly teach us about the nature of other celestial bodies. I saw someone mention 1 Venus day takes like ~290 Earth days. Wouldn't it be interesting if every 290th day the Ishtar region would enter night for however long night lasts. It would be nice if the moon had ~1/6th of Earth's gravity (like it does irl), effectively allowing us to jump 6x higher. Crota's End would've been much more interesting with a 6x jump height. The jumping puzzles would've been way better than King's Fall. And speaking of King's Fall, the dreadnaught is in Saturn's orbit. It's in space so why isn't the gravity much lower? It would have its own gravitational pull due to its size and it most likely has some artificial gravity for on-board efficiency but how is it exactly the same as Earth's? I know Bungie did this because it's honestly loads easier if each planet had the same gravitational pull so jump height and run speed would be the same everywhere but there could've been so much potential. That's what Destiny is to me; wasted potential.

He kneels before no banner

bioluminescence. or methane in the air coupled with the sun changes it colour.
-
That's no moon
-
And Taniks has no house :-(

I don't even have time to explain why I don't have time to explain.
-
Taniks, has no house

Good catch. But if we wanna justify it. Venus is the hottest planet because it has a weakening magnetic field. Planetary Magnetic fields act like shields blocking all the punishment from the Sun. Earth has an awesome magnetic shield because we have one of the highest ratio of density relationship between planet and moon. Our moon is made of the same iron nickel the Earth is. (Long Story as why this is). The moon and earth's magnetic and gravity fields work on each other in such a way as to keep a strong magnetic field. Maybe Destiny's Venus has an artificial satellite to smdo this task.

Maybe they're just really small and we can't see them unless we're on the planet... ;p

Not gonna complain about the blue lava? Or did you do your research on it.
blue lava is possible if the specific requirements are met lol.
What about the fact that Venus's average day length is about 116 earth days long.
-
Night time on Venus, bruh it takes 298 earth days for one Venus day, what did you build a -blam!-ing house and welcomed over the vex for some iced tea and apple pie?
-
Eh....erm.....huh?
-
But it does have an enus.

Edited by SolarCerberuS: 5/2/2016 2:44:37 AMIts a "weather balloon"

A day on venus is like 243 days for us

Yeah, and the cars and trees somehow doesnt stick out?

Edited by A Tigerstorm: 5/2/2016 3:01:29 PMHave you researched if Venus had a Moon?
-
Edited by Elite 529: 5/2/2016 4:12:10 PMArtificial moon to make venus habitable or else the oceans would completely swallow everything and no life would be able to form.

the Venus is flat

Is this a real post? I can't tell anymore.

And the caves on Venus are inhabited by bats with a uncanny resemblance to earth bats. What's with that? Did a whole colony lose their chosen habitat due to urbanization during the golden age. Did this traumatic event lead to them making the decision to embark on a interplanetary migration to Venus.
not having a go here....just having fun with some good for thought
It's the fading glint of a 1k stare about to take your ass out!

Temporal reset from the vex. I assume they operate off of solar power.
