VICTORY! Supers have been boosted!
So, one of the greatest perk stipulations ever added was "To Minions of the Darkness". This let us have perks that may otherwise have been inappropriate in PVP settings.
So for supers, We can all agree that Supers don't feel Super.
A Heavy Sword easily outdoes a Blade Dancer
Any Special Weapon can out damage a Golden Gun per shot.
A Rocket Launcher can easily do what a Nova Bomb or Fist of Havoc can do... and you can do it up to three times (Thank You Tripod).
A Radiant Warlock is a Warlock on Cocaine.
A Sun Breaker is a Rocket Dispenser.
A Storm Caller is pretty good but you look like you have a stick up your ass.
My point is, we need a damage up on these Supers. I don't think it should be anything insane, I would just double everything up... against minions of the darkness.
However, Bungie... you guys are overtechnical bastards who don't believe in simple solutions so I'll attempt to make changes that you would enjoy seeing in DeeJ's weekly update ("This Weeks at Bungie").
Hunter-
Arc Blade - 100% Damage Increase against Minions of Darkness. Orbs Generated Increased.
Golden Gun - 100% Damage Increase against Minions of Darkness. (We were about to nerf Celestial Nighthawk but decided not to be dicks.)
Nightstalker - 100% Damage Increase against Minions of Darkness. (Tether Activation remains exactly the same, this is just for the Void Bow Shots themselves)
Titan-
Striker - 125% Damage Increase against Minions of Darkness.
Sun Breaker - 100% Damage Increase against Minions of Darkness.
Defender - Makes One Additional Orb on Bubble Activation
Warlock-
Storm Caller - 100% Damage Increase against Minions of Darkness.
Sun Singer - During Radiance, Abilities have 100% Damage Increase against Minions of Darkness (*Abilities means Grenades & Melee)
Void Walker - 125% Damage Increase against Minions of Darkness.
I figured that the one time AOE effect Supers needed a little more oomph then the rest of the supers. Nova Bomb and Fist of Havoc give you one time to get the shot right and if you need it for a single target, its a shame when you can barely kill Non Major Knights or Wizards. Radiance should make all your abilities feel more powerful, so when tossing those nades at an incredible pace, why not a little more damage as well. Even fast paced grenades can be matched by sniper shots or even some primaries.
These are my thoughts. Let me know what you think.
Also, can we make Hard Light a good exotic already? Sorry, had to add this in here. If someone says its fine, I think you're crazy. That gun comes with an Epilepsy Warning Label on the stock due to the screen shake and light show.
Edit: I can see some disagreement with the buff percentages. I'm not stuck on these numbers, I'm just trying to get the discussion going so we can make supers better.
Edit 2: This remains on the top of the highest rating board. I'm sure they've seen it. I don't expect a response at all, I just hope that if more people agree, that you hit the like and leave a bump so that this can remain trending and top rated and show that we really want our supers to be super.
-
Top of the highest rated, and yet Bungie chooses to ignore it. Gee, I wonder why they even bother with trying to look like they care.
-
-
Bump. Needs more traction

That's a practical way to make it work. I don't know about the numbers (I mean, literally) but something needs to be done. My GG is practically useless in PvE. I can't even kill a red-health wizard with one shot. And sometimes I use all 3 shots and yellow-healths are still up. All the supers need a buff for PvE.
-
I like this. It seems like now everything is nerfed to make to PvP better, and PvE is kind of sliding by then wayside. It would also make everyone very happy to see a PvE buff, since they practically never happen.
-
And nobody from bungie is gonna listen to this post, cause they don't give a crap.
-
I like this. This should be put to use
-
You, I like you.
-
Bladedancers also need a pretty beefy orb buf. I mean defenders make more orbs and dont need super do do it either. Takes 2 or 3 red bars or 1 major to make a single orb
-
I was using Bladedancer for the first time in awhile yesterday and the super is useless. The best option was to spam Razors edge or use it to run and survive.
-
-
The only reason I used blade dancer was for crota, besides that (since its been nerfed in pvp and stuff), its pointless
-
-
The best buff would be to increase damage dealing super 100% damage...
-
Storm caller is freaking ridiculous as it is. I got killed twice in two different lives by the same guy.
-
You dont use bladedancer for orbs you use it for invisibility. But they also gave that ability to nightstalkers so theres no point in using bd
-
Golden Gun is fine. Bladedancer is gonna be a lot better once the update comes out, which is good news for me. Bladedancer is, in my opinion, easily the most fun Hunter sub-class to run.
-
I didn't read but supers are to super. They need nerf bad. Too strong.
-
Bump of Love.
-
Easy champ Maybe just a slight boost to blade, but everything else is fine. You get yellow bars down to half and finish them with supers. Supers aren't designed to be an automatic win. Otherwise people would just chain them and never use a gun.
-
2x golden gun damage would be a lot too powerful. The reason why bungie won't do any of the changes on that list is because they want your guns and super to feel the same way in PvP and in PvE. Personally, I find the game pretty balanced.
-
-
No they dont

Bump.
