I'll just say that Kyle on Secular Talk nailed this perfectly.
Whatever happens in the last few states, no matter who gets the nomination and wins in the general election, supporters of the socialist and social democratic movements, supporters of the progressive, workers rights movements and ultimately the Sanders campaign should feel very proud of how far we have come in the last year.
Bernie Sanders has inspired not only the world's most powerful nation, but also many other countries around the world; each with millions of supporters of the left-wing causes that bring people like you and me together.
Bernie Sanders went from a little known Vermont senator, to a major Presidential candidate that has not only won a plethora of states, but has nearly tied and surpassed Hillary Clinton many times, in terms of delegates and opinion polling. What's even more impressive, is that he did this while taking on the establishment, running on a platform that although is mainstream liberal by international standards, is "far-left and hardline socialist" by American standards. He did this as by far the most secular and least religious politician in recent times, and he got this far, off 100% donations by working men and women. That is amazing.
So even if Hillary gets the nomination, we should all be proud of the political revolution we have started, and even after Bernie is no longer running, we need to remember to stand by our principles, and fight for what is right, until we get it.
The war isn't over. It's just beginning!
