If the universe is full of billions of galaxies all containing billions of stars, night would not even be possible. The universe should be one big "glare". Saying the universe is finite only makes the problem worse: ever try shinning a flash light in your face? If finite, the universe might as well be a flashlight: tons of light packed into a limited space. Also, judging from my last post, you all seem fine with the idea that stars are "blinking" on. If so, every new star we get just adds to the problem.
