I know the title may be inflammatory to some, so I'll start by saying I love the destiny community and usually have no issues.
Anytime I raid with a team that's over 50% strangers I always wind up getting kicked. Regardless of my K/d, light, dps or general wipe-causing--blam!-ups I'm always the one kicked.
Am I being paranoid? Or am I being penalized for bing a girl?
-
They always ended up booting me because they think I'm a squeaker and my brothers are always like that's my sister. But I end up booted anyways.
-
Yeah I agree you probably have a high voice and sound like a little kid and most of is including myself hate playing with little kids. Just let them know your a adult female and you should be just fine.
-
There seems to be a solid number of folks that can't finish the raid -- then have a member drop -- then pick up a stag on LFG. If they don't finish the first run or two, blaming the LFG is easy. I know the Need One at Oryx CP or Sisters can be a study in poor team dynamics.
-
Don't take it personally, I have seen so many different types of skills and people get kicked in alot of different games.
-
Maybe they think ur a lil kid
-
They prob think you're a squeaker, just point out that you're female asap and you'll find u get kicked less

Edited by drake10114: 4/29/2016 1:55:50 PMIf you want a chill raid team, add me. My group doesn't care about gender and we often need 1 extra here and there. edit: I think some people don't know how to treat a lady or are immature and young and feel it's a guy thing to do, to bash the other sex.
-
There's a clan that only allows girls and Bungie actually featured it once. Moral of the story? Girls can act sexist too.
-
Only if you were on xbox.
-
I can't seem to understand how male gamers can act like this towards girl gamers. A real man would show a woman more respect than anything. I sincerely apologize for the little twits who think it's okay to treat you any differently.
-
My wife and I both have ps4 and both play and she never has any problems so I don't know what to tell you lol
-
Uhm? You probably aren't and just get stuck with general assholes, if you're on ps4 and need people for raids feel free to hit me up.
-
Just be the host
-
Easiest way to get a group without too many problems is to join a clan. There are a few "no boys allowed" clans out there you can join if you just want to eliminate gender as a possibility for why you are being kicked.
-
Every random party I go into all the guys get real thirsty as soon as they know there is a girl there so I highly doubt it's down to that. Imo it's down to 2 things...... Either you're a drama queen/attention seeker or you're not great at the game. Whilst the second reason can be fixed the first cannot and being booted for attention seeking is fully justified imo

Edited by Kemaleon: 4/29/2016 3:27:45 PMIts the ignorant morons who live by stereotypes, they need to open their minds and not just judge people because of their gender. I mean, just because women can't drive doesn't mean they'll suck at video games too right?
Joke
-
I'm going to laugh and say people didn't know how to talk to you so people kicked you instead. ~TheGreatNike
-
Stop doing the raid, hun. Come here and let me carry you in ToO . By far the easiest way to get high level gear.
-
Sell it and put the $2 you'll get toward DS3.
-
I see now, you have Zero Kings fall completions, and 8 total raid completions.... you are a inexperienced noob when it comes to raids. I'm sure it shows so people kick you. Plain and simple.
-
I know the reason, it's an ancient disease called cooties and some kinderguardians think they can catch it through the microphone
-
Yeah, some Destiny gamers have no respect
-
I have Never been kicked.... Ever in the almost 2 years of playing.... you either suck, or you really suck at finding groups....
-
Who do you main?
-
What?! Makes no sense. Your unlucky and in the minority.
-
People are wonderful aren't they? /sarcasm It may be that they mistake you for a child. I reccomend trying to raid with friends more than randoms, or raiding as the fireteam leader.
