I know the title may be inflammatory to some, so I'll start by saying I love the destiny community and usually have no issues.
Anytime I raid with a team that's over 50% strangers I always wind up getting kicked. Regardless of my K/d, light, dps or general wipe-causing--blam!-ups I'm always the one kicked.
Am I being paranoid? Or am I being penalized for bing a girl?

Kids not feeling comfortable around ladies. Are you perhaps casually throwing around racial slurs or just being offensive for no reason? That's really the only reason I ever boot someone. Even if they are terrible that's not enough a reason to boot. I'd try to help them learn and get better as long as they are willing to receive the help and advice. Everyone's gotta start somewhere.

That sucks. Hit up got2Breal if you are on ps4 to join our clan. PS4 Boys and Girls. We have a good mix of people and nobody will ever kick you again.
-
My regular raid group is 4 guys and 2 gals. Don't know why anyone would kick someone just for being a lady.
-
questions about your K/D in the raid are valid, but appears mostly sorted out. Being confused with a squeaker is also possible. Mysoginists are possible. Lots of possible options. This is my Wife's Account. We both play. Either of us would play.

Psn or x box

I knkw that same thing happened to me and I'm a girl and my light is 328 and I got kicked regardless which is stupid.
-
I'll kick someone if they are bad, inexperienced, annoying, and if they don't listen.

Edited by Prime Je11yfish: 4/29/2016 6:53:26 PMI honestly don't see how you do it as a girl, iv been playing destiny with this one girl from time to time for a while now and last night I was in a party with a friend and some of his other friends "to whom I did not know", as soon as she joined everything those other guys talked about turned to sex and anal trash, she eventually left and I just don't think I could handle being a girl on xbox/psn
-
Honestly I'd never kick a woman but I do avoid them. I have far to much respect for the ladies to allow them to listen to my mouth. Let's face it most of us guys talk a lot of trash and say things are aren't really going to fly with the females. While I can't speak for the people kicking you I'd gave to assume it's for your own good, and you'd probably be better off without them.

I want to post that attention sausage gif from 9gag but the forum won't play it and I'm too lazy to give the link.

Edited by Oenothera: 4/29/2016 5:30:26 PMThe only people I kick are ones whose Music is blaring through their mic. Ain't nobody got time for that. In my experience, males are usually more patient with females than with other males, particularly young males(squeakers). Sounds like you've just been unlucky, maybe they thought you were doing worse than you were, or it may very well be as you suspect. I've also been a part of teams where they kick people to get a friend or clanmate to join, even if the person isn't as good. Good luck finding better people to play with, and you may wanna try being team leader to make sure you're not kicked.
-
I've seen the opposite aswell. Played Kings fall with a girl and she was terrible and the guys were way more patient with her than they would be if it were me or another guy
-
So you had 84 kills and 14 deaths on your most recent run. Was this due to wipes? That's a crap load of deaths. All I can say is, don't be the reason for the wipe. If you're aura holder at WP, don't -blam!- up. Gaze at golgoroth or runner at sisters, don't be the reason for the wipe. If you are the reason, sorry, but booting you has nothing to do with you being a girl. If you aren't the reason for the wipes, who cares? Also, bit of advice. Always try to be leader. Have people join on you. Especially if they are randoms.
-
That's why I'm always fireteam leader. They can leave if they don't like it. Some people leave because they think I'm a squeaker, so that could be it for you too.
-
Raids can bring out the best and worst in people. Random people equals random results. I have been asked to raid and then kicked at the first issue. I think it's general intolerance of failure. In the mess of directions and job assignments from people who think they are leaders, it is hard figure out what's going on. Most of the time the directions are wrong or incomplete. Anyway if you are on and you see me say hi. I don't do much raiding but maybe one day. Keep your chin up☺
-
They probably think you are a squeaker. As such, squeakers are much more likely to get kicked then anyone else. #TitanMasterRace
-
... Or some guys feels very uncomfortable around females. I know one guy who won't join me in a party without another person around; very childish. I'm like bro... No one cares bruhhhhhh, we are here to play, let's make it happened!

Edited by GrJoe68: 4/29/2016 4:45:11 PMOn your recent raid, your kd wasn't amazing, yet your kills and assists were solid (in that group, and especially your assists). In other raids of yours, you had some of the higher kds in your group. Two thoughts: not sure what your behavior is like in groups, so not sure if that is a factor. Second, your most recent raid group looked chaotic (many player names) so I wonder if that group was just frustrated and/or kick crazy. Note: better to have fewer kills and a higher kd. I personally have to be very mindful of any moment when it looks like I might get killed. I back away, heal, and come back shooting. This decreases wipes. Find and stick w a team.

Machos need a nerf....

Edited by MeatShield42: 4/29/2016 4:37:20 PMI've been playing destiny for a while, and honestly I've NEVER EVEN SEEN a girl in the game. Doing raids and what have you... Never seen one. So, I don't really know what it's like to play with one, but it shouldn't be a problem with anyone (unless they're a douche). Just don't be the anchor on the team and you should be kick-free.

Stop causing wipes

A girl tax sounds like something everyone's favorite socialist would do.
-
Its because you're 324
-
They don't want to play with you? Their loss. Keep that attitude.

They're probably just smelly neckbeards that don't know how to talk to girls. For me, age and gender are irrelevant in gaming. If you are cool, we have no problem.
