Combining two weak things to make one overpowered thing still make one overpowered thing!
It doesn't make it balanced because the two things separately are weak.
That's just backwards logic.

It's a fair point you make, but I think that your statement forces us to look at the nightstalker in a vacuum. The nightstalker has no grenade or melee that can outright kill somebody. Striker - Shoulder Charge Defender - Magnetic Grenade Sunsinger/breaker - fusion Voidwalker - Scatter Shocklock - ??? Super melee range (I think shocklocks fit the same category as nightstalkers) Blade Dancer - Flux nades Gunslinger - Tripmines Instead of having the grenade "stopping power" that all but one other classes have, the nightstalker has only AoE/area denial grenades. Their Melee, in order to use the Wombo, requires them to sacrifice invisibility which is a devastating ability in crucible. Essentially, what they are doing with a Wombo is giving themselves a sticky nade at the cost of their melee. Doesn't sound so OP to me, at least when every other class has insta-gib abilities outside of their super.

Agreed

So what you're saying is Nerf shadestep?
-
No no, nerf fusion rifles silly

Well obviously

But it's not op at all, it's almost a 50/50 chance you'll get 1 kill.
