Smoke simply does too much with just one node
Smoke (without any perks) should only take away the HUD and blind you
If you use venom, it gives damage when you are inside the smoke itself
The perk that allows to put smoke traps should also slow down the enemy when the bomb goes off/you throw it to an enemy, and with the perk "lockdown" extend the amount of time it can stay next to a wall.
THAT is more balanced. Right know, getting smoked --> 1% of survival

They aren't that hard to get out of, or away from. If that's the case "balance" the suppressor grenades from the Titan or the flash bang grenades as well from the Titan. There is no need to do anything to the whole smoke grenade thing.
