Helm of Saint 14 and a bad juju?
That damn warsat is nigh the hardest thing in the entire game. Is there something I'm missing that could help from locks or hunters?
Edit 1:
Thanks for all the replies guys! Gonna try with my usual plebs to get it done tonight using some of these tactics. Also gonna git gud. Can I buy it from the Tower? I get the feeling that maybe our levels are giving us quite the disadvantage at the moment... Never the less, I like a challenge ;) If it all goes pear shaped I'll definitely hit up those that offered help! Thanks a bunch! Be good to eachother!

Let us know what you think of Sleeper Simulant. I found it best for up close 1 on 1 work. At distance it sucks.
-
Nope. Ran 3 locks last night. I even used Voidwalker. Small arms and an exotic sword make possible. Just remember to team shoot the guns off the drop ship asap.
-
praise the bubble!
-
Raze Lighter, that is all.
-
Idk, but Ghost is the crapiest piece of hacking tech that came out of he Traveler's gifts' towards Earth. Bet that every Ghost was manufactured in China to save on glimmer..😂, Saber strike is pretty fun tho. 👍
-
Yes, bubble is the only way. For serious. At least one. Saint-14 isn't necessary, but if you like it, go for it. One major thing my fireteam does is destroy the turret on the ship immediately. It deals massive splash damage, and your fight is much easier once it's gone. After its destroyed, focus on the adds. When the second ship appears, kill the turret again and drop another bubble. Let the adds come to you and funnel them into a grinder. Pop another bubble for the last wave and focus only on staying alive. Kill what you must but stay in or near the bubble. You only have to survive to 100%, not kill everything. Even if you all die after 100%, you respawn and continue the mission. Zhalo Supercell is KEY for the warsat. Good luck, Guardian.

I use a Voidwalker warlock. Tier 5 discipline with nothing manacles and scatter grenades. I can just keep throwing grenades. It clears out waves pretty fast.
-
Something ive noticed not many people do is shoot the turrets on the skiffs, they do heaps of damage if you leave them alone. If all else fails, use red death
-
Dragons breath melts enemy waves.
-
Why do so many noobs have problems with the warsat?
-
Kill the turrets, Guardian. Kill them fast.
Also kill the stealth Vandal from the second ship as soon as they start running so you don't let them scatter.
4 possible methods: Self res Invis Bubble Git gud
-
We did it with no titans, just shoot the turrets, makes the entire engagement MUCH easier.
-
325 warlock invite me
-
Shoot the drops ships turrets and use dragons breath. No radar is the hard part does make it more challenging.
-
I used a bladedancer and once we got overrun I crouch invis then I have two melee invis and my super to go invis. Basically I can be invis for about 5 minutes straight
-
Absolutely not
-
Just use hung hury and black spindle at a distance
-
It's really not hard
-
Shoot the turrets off the ships. Pretty simple after that
-
No, you dont need a titan. Its just easier and quicker. Pop a bubble at 35% and then 75%, once you have a cp take turns switching characters. You can do it with 2 hunters or a warlock, etc. Might wipe once or twice
-
I 2 manned it; warlock and hunter no problem. We didnt wipe once, each of us died a couple times but got the res, shoot the guns on the ship and its incredibly easy going. Expecially with small arms. No idea what the fuss is about this strike

Edited by Deer Alice: 4/27/2016 11:29:00 PMWhen I did it this week we had 2 bubbles and a stormcaller. The bubbles, yes, is a very efficient way to get through the warsat. Helm of saint isnt needed if you're using the bubble for protection, still it's helpful. So to short answer: its helpful but not necessary
-
Just back out until you get the hive version at the beginning. Easy mode.
-
Theres lots of ways to Get it done,
