I tried waiting
Almost got killed in the process
Fact is that heavy zones are dangerous to be around because ppl with charged supers like to converge there

If I'm the first to arrive I take cover until I see more teammates. Could there be someone waiting to wipe us out once we converge, yes, but I'd rather work as a team. In the long run I'll win more matches and have a better time (as will my teammates). The few times my team gets wiped, I just tip my hat to that person and imagine how good they must feel.

As the OP stated if you have red on radar and you feel they're rushing the spawn with supers then pull it and go but if you see blue dots on your radar converging on your location and you have no red then -blam!-ing wait!!!!! This is a team effort not an individual one fer fooks sake.....

If I'm alone and my teammates aren't within my field of vision when the heavy drops I pick it up. The radar is a deceptive tool that shouldn't be relied upon If there are teammates nearby I usually don't pop until at least half my team is there or unless clear

Edited by SeaWolv: 4/27/2016 8:37:26 PMThere is also the case where the heavy spawn is either exposed or protected. Rusted Lands both heavy spawns are protected. Pantheon outside heavy is vulnerable to attack from a multitude of directions. Waiting on Pantheon outside heavy is a risky endeavor. So map placement is a factor as well.

True.

One of the crates near section c of twilight gap is pretty much a sniper lane

On that one you've gotta position yourself behind the stack of crates for cover.
