I played King's Field back in the day. It's a series from From Software as well, so I'm a bit biased against Dark Souls. lol It's the same universe, but they switched perspectives and a few other things. I'm definitely a From Software hipster, because I loved them before they were cool. :P
Thanks for recommendation though. My previous MMO experience has been like WoW, Rift, SWTOR, etc. That's why I'm very comfortable playing a rogue type character. I've noticed that's potentially frowned upon in the FPS community, but me likes it anyway.

I was never really a fan of fps, mostly RPGs. I picked destiny up because it was kind of a hybrid and ended up really liking the gun play, then small team pvp and rumble kinda consumed me. I play mostly rumble at this point because I can do my own thing and there's is no one to complain about it, so I know the rogue feeling.

Edited by Bowmans60: 4/27/2016 8:50:43 PMI think a lot of Destiny players are like us: they're people who are giving an FPS a chance, even though they typically aren't found in this genre. Sure, I played Doom, Wolfenstein 3D, and others; but like you, I've historically been more an RPG fan. That's one of the reasons I've tried to play my own way in Destiny, but it can be tough. I'm glad you enjoy Rumble. Sometimes I wonder if I should really push myself to do well in that mode, but I think the bigger battles work better for me. Frankly, I could do with some 10v10, though I suppose that could end up requiring some major changes to the game. I've been a bit disappointed with Destiny since the heavy/special nerfs, especially with there being no permanent Mayhem 6s, so thanks for the chat.

Yeah destiny has a pretty diverse player base. They have a couple real big maps, if they added a few more 10v10 wouldn't be that hard to pull off. A while back someone posted an idea for faction wars, a 6v6v6, that could end up being a ton of fun. Good talk, be easy.
