A) never said I didn't like invis, I actually said it was fun, bad try B) camping and invis are not the same thing. As it pertains to snipers, hard scoping a lane is not difficult, and any really good sniper is aggressive. C) the smart play would be to move somewhere with a good vantage point of the room you just killed him in, not to hide and wait. You want to talk about how I don't define my terms, yet you fail to provide definition of your own. But I'll give it to you I suppose. Nooby- something that allows for easy, boarding on cheap kills. An unwise tactic that leads to an extremely avoidable death. I believe that covers your, mine, and pretty much everyone else's use of the word noob and all of its many variations. Whiny forum goer, I do not salute you.

  • How can I melee someone from a different room? I'm not a huge fan of guns, you see, though the nerf to swords (heavy ammo drops) has made me rely a bit more on them. More than anything, it's made the game feel a tad similar to other shooters, so I'll likely play less and less until I quit. You will win, sir, even if you don't understand my heart. :'(

  • I played King's Field back in the day. It's a series from From Software as well, so I'm a bit biased against Dark Souls. lol It's the same universe, but they switched perspectives and a few other things. I'm definitely a From Software hipster, because I loved them before they were cool. :P Thanks for recommendation though. My previous MMO experience has been like WoW, Rift, SWTOR, etc. That's why I'm very comfortable playing a rogue type character. I've noticed that's potentially frowned upon in the FPS community, but me likes it anyway.

  • I was never really a fan of fps, mostly RPGs. I picked destiny up because it was kind of a hybrid and ended up really liking the gun play, then small team pvp and rumble kinda consumed me. I play mostly rumble at this point because I can do my own thing and there's is no one to complain about it, so I know the rogue feeling.

I think a lot of Destiny players are like us: they're people who are giving an FPS a chance, even though they typically aren't found in this genre. Sure, I played Doom, Wolfenstein 3D, and others; but like you, I've historically been more an RPG fan. That's one of the reasons I've tried to play my own way in Destiny, but it can be tough. I'm glad you enjoy Rumble. Sometimes I wonder if I should really push myself to do well in that mode, but I think the bigger battles work better for me. Frankly, I could do with some 10v10, though I suppose that could end up requiring some major changes to the game. I've been a bit disappointed with Destiny since the heavy/special nerfs, especially with there being no permanent Mayhem 6s, so thanks for the chat.

  • Yeah destiny has a pretty diverse player base. They have a couple real big maps, if they added a few more 10v10 wouldn't be that hard to pull off. A while back someone posted an idea for faction wars, a 6v6v6, that could end up being a ton of fun. Good talk, be easy.
